adirondack winery & tasting room

I'm from the region and a regular visitor. I always have a great time. The staff are very friendly. I've brought many friends & family and they have all enjoyed it. There is a wine for every taste. They have dessert wines, dry reds & whites and sweeter fruity wines for those people who say "I don't like wine." There is sure to be something you'll like. They are under construction at the tasting room right now. Don't mind the look, it's temporary. It's always good to see small businesses doing well enough to improve. Looking forward to seeing the new improved look soon. At times it gets busy and the tastings can take some time, especially during tourist season. That's what happens, so sit back and enjoy :-)

My wife and I had our best visit yet thanks in a great part to the efforts of our server, Krystal. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and full of useful advice and comments. We have always enjoyed stopping by and tasting the different wines but with Krystal's help we really had a pleasant time on a blustery winter's day.

i have to say, on the approach a wine tasting room on the main drag in a shopping center wasn't really appealing. how wrong I was!!! it was such a nice and charming place. wines were fantastic and the customer service was excellent.

Thank you for visiting us at the Tasting Room and complimenting our staff and store. We produce 35 different wines; a small selection of which are fruit infused wines with natural fruit flavors. We do also have a large selection of award-winning varietal wines that we hope you will try during your next visit. We encourage everyone to "try before they buy" so that they find the wine that best suits their palate.

Nothing special if you've been to wineries around the country, but worth taking an hour out to taste some different wines. The $5.00 cost is well worth tasting 7 wines and keeping the glass. The samples are very small...but what do you want for $5.00??

We stopped in the Adirondack Winery for a tasting and had a wonderful time. For $5.00 you get to taste six wonderful wines and take home a commemorative wine glass! We purchased the slate cheese plate to enjoy with our tasting and so enjoyed every moment.The young lady conducting the tasting was charming and delightful. This was a fantastic time for very little money.

Took forever to be served for each tasting. Did not rinse out some of the glasses after each taste. Did not have the traditional crackers to use between tastes. Felt like we didn't matter. No tip was left. Horrible experience.

Great selection of locally-owned wines. Usually buy more than one case. Only drawback is the lack of nearby parking, having to carry the wine to your car can be a challenge.

7 sips for $5 sampling and $1 extra for dessert wine tasting and added a cheese plate for an extra $5. We liked and bought the Cab and Chard but were blown away by the White Chocolate White Port Wine (had to by that). Great place to stop in while shopping or just visiting as a destination.

This has become an annual visit for my friends and myself when we're there for the Adirondack Balloon Festival. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly with smiles that never end and prompt answers to any question. It was quite busy while we were there this year as there was a wine-tasting tour going on but they never missed a beat, keeping things moving but never rushing us. The wines are superb, we always leave with a case (and of course, our souvenir glasses, which I always look forward to). It's a fun time and well worth the trip. We'll be back next year!

On a rainy Saturday after a short shopping spree at the nearby Lake George outlets, 'we' went for a sampling. It's a very good deal, 7 sips for $5. Whatever your preferences the ADK winery will have something just right for your palate. They are knowledgeable in description as well as offering suggestions for pairings. The bottle labels are local ADK photographs. The only downfall noted was that the imprint on the glasses isn't top notch and has nearly come off after one hand washing.

I found the winery through a wine festival in Upstate NY and when I came down for a wedding, I couldn't resist stopping by and stocking in up on my favorites. I always get their Chardonnay, Strawsling, Orchard Blossom, and Prospect Mt whites. The staff is very friendly as well! Worth the visit!

Tasting room centrally located in Lake George Village offers a great selection of wines. The staff is both knowledgeable and very helpful. Their Orchard Blossom and Prospect Mt whites along with Mellow Blush are specially delightful.

I went here with my fiancé and another couple. It was a wonderful experience! You pay $5 and get to try 7 different wines of your choosing. You can also get the cheese and crackers for a little extra fee which I highly recommend as they are delicious. I fell in love with the amethyst sunset and am now considering ordering a few bottles online. This is definitely something you should try if you are in the area!

My wife and I stopped into the tasting room on a lark and decided to do a tasting. Neither of us are huge wine drinkers, but the staff was so great about helping us to choose wines based on what our preferences are (even changing our choices as we went along) that it was really an amazing experience. And while I don't foresee either us becoming regular wine drinkers, we did buy a couple bottles while on site, then bought several more online after enjoying what we already had. When we are in Lake George next, we will definitely be going back.
