Cool bridge .... I got some pretty nice photos... If that's your thing check it out and enjoy.... Incredibly Icy when I went ... Still a good find...
While staying at the condos in Sunday River. We took a ride to this covered bridge and took a walk. it is so kewl. A Definite must see.
A great little bridge close to Sunday River ski resort, was inspired to see this from the Clint Eastwood movie The Bridges of Madison County was not disappointed.
A short ride off the beaten bath, but well worth the detour. Fantastic photo possibilities. Great fly fishing for trout in the Sunday River, anytime of the year.
My brother & sister in law took us here last week while looking for good painting spots. It's a very pretty spot. Get out and look at the bridge from the river not just the spot off the road. The trees still had color so it was very nice.
Lovely bridge on the Sunday River, The trees had lost most of their leaves but it was still a magic place.
A beautiful bridge unrestricted in walking around and under. Also attended a wedding there. If you do that PUT DOWN A CARPET. the minister dropped the groom's ring and it rolled into the river. Fortunately it was retrieved but a word to the wise take steps to avoid as it could have been lost if the water were higher or had it fallen between rocks.
We saw quite a few covered bridges on our drive throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont and this bridge ranks pretty near the top. We visited on a slightly rainy day and the soft colors and foggy weather certainly added led to picturesque quality of the bridge. Don't miss it if you're in the area.
Covered bridges are a very important part of our highway history so we loved to stop & take pictures here--just a little Americana. We took pictures of each other & the bridge from every possible view to add to our photo memories of our trip. I can simply imagine people stopping here for oh so many reasons one of being a dip in the cool waters of the creek.
I've seen better bridges in NH. If you're in the area, it's an ok place to stop. I would not go out of my way to see it again.
This covered bridge is worth the short drive from Bethel to see. It sits over a beautiful River. It was built in 1872 (I think). Very interesting structure.
This place is great for the kids to take a dip and the views are beautiful. The kids enjoyed the fresh cold water. It is a must see.
a great place to take pictures and wade in the water. Absolutely beautiful. Loved it! We took a large group picture for our family here last week.
this is in a secluded spot, not far off the beaten path, though, and beautiful. you can walk down to the stream it crosses and wade in. but, the graffiti all over the bridge spoils it a little for me....
I've seen it in the fall and in the winter and each season brings it's own characteristics to it to make it look unique.
