We enjoy taking the dogs for hikes here. It is an easy hike or walk and it is never too crowded. Not too steep or difficult. Great for kids too.

This trail was such a fun experience for me and my family. It was some what difficult for us because of the rocky incline, but definitely not a hill for experienced hikers. The view is beautiful and the bugs are plentiful. You leave satisfied and feeling healthy. One thing I would do is cut back the weeds on the path leading onto the trail through a small meadow opening.

Although this trail is closed until May 1st due to "Mud Season" it is one of our favorite hikes. Pet friendly we hike in the snow, sleet, rain and sun on this mountain. The first part of the trail is easy, just follow the blue arrows or pink tape in trees. As you climb up it becomes a bit more difficult, but the views from the top are well worth the hike. The Presidential Range, Sebago Lake, Panther Pond, Crescent Lake and almost to the Ocean! Just beautiful. Be sure to carry something with Deet for protection from sceeters and black flies if you hike in the spring, summer and fall. Check pets and yourself for ticks as they are already out this year.
