A bit pricey for both parks but well worth it. Rides for all ages cool down tents for those hot days. Can be over crowded and wish they had indoor cooled lockers phones will melt on those really hot days. Overall looking forward to 2015 season!

Employees were friendly and helpful. The park was awesome according to my 2 girls 8 & 9 years old. They would have stayed in the water park for our whole vacation. Everything was reasonably priced.

I've been a long time patron to Funtown/Splashtown ever since I was a baby and it never fails to be a great time for everyone!

Funtown is the place to go for a boring day. When we went (Friday August 8th) there were little to no lines for funtown and at 7:00 we stayed till closing (9:00) no lines at all. With 220 feet dragon descant, the wooden roller coaster Excalibur, and the fast roller coaster wild mouse, it's all worth it.Tips:Longer hours=longer lines and more peopleIf it's a warm day, splashtow will be packedSince Friday is the last day for people that stay for a week, they avoid funtown so that's when to go

I spent the Day with my family at Fun Town /Splash town in Saco, Maine. The place was Clean and Friendly .The food was Good and we got a great deal with Groupon. The Problem I had was the terrain and the layout of the park and the combination of fast spinning rides put the wind out of my sails. Putting it mildly I felt like I ran the Boston marathon in work boots. My advice is to pace yourself.. Drink plenty of water and sit . Unless you're an Olympian. Enjoy

Spent the day at this little gem! my 8 year old had the time of her life and not only got to spend the day at a carnival like setting, but also in a waterpark! Will be heading there again next year!

it was great we did splash town in the morning then fun town that night. We really should have made two days of it. there was a grocery store up the road and you can bring a cooler in for lunch. No booze, No glass but there is a place or 2 inside if an adult wanted to sneak off for a beer. clean fun and it did not break the bank.

we really enjoyed the rides and dry stuff until 2-3:00, then hit splashtown for a wet finish around 6, really good time

I live right near Funtown Splashtown, so during the summer, I practically live there. All of the rides are fun and in general, the lines aren't horrible. The grounds are clean and the food is good (albeit slightly expensive). However, it is quite a bit of money for entry so be prepared to bring a lot of money if you're going to enter and eat there. (You can bring a lunch as they have a couple picknick setups throughout the park) If you live in the area, definately take the time to purchase a season pass. I did and it got me multiple entries (paying for itself in about four trips). Overall, it's a great time (for a lot of money) but, you get the whole day there for one payment.

We've been going to Funtown/Splashtown for the last 3 years, and we have so much fun each and every time we go. Yes, some of the lines are long, , most parks are, Disney especially. Each year, when we return, we expect the park not to be as nice as the first time we went, but we have yet to be disappoionted. The park is sooooo clean, and well maintained, the grounds are beautiful, the staff very helpful and friendly. My grandson loves it there and seeing him happy makes me so happy. We love that we can bring our own food and drinks in as well, it helps keep cost down. We do indulge in the usual park fare, cotton candy, fried dough, fresh squeezed lemonade, etc., all delish. We can't wait to return 2015.

We went when people where using groupon coupons. Extremely long wait to get on anything. Not to mention it took an hour and thirty minutes just to get into the place.

We attended this park in August from Canada on our last vacation day. We paid for full day passes to both parks. They closed the park midday due to weather but management had told us they were going to keep it open. We didn't have an opportunity to do the water park side. But, we paid for it. No refund was offered only a coupon for a half-day pass that expired in 2014. When we explained we weren't from the United States and would not be able to use the coupon they said that was their policy. Unreal. Our family was highly disappointed. We do not recommend this attraction.

We had a great time even though this place was packed! Big rides had over 40 minute wait lines on them. We thought we were doing good by going on a monday but we were wrong. Had a fun time regardless. Always try to plan a summer trip. Next year we will go closer to school starting though!

I hadn't been to Funtown Splashtown in over a decade, and was pleasantly surprised by our recent experience here. The first thing I noticed, and marveled over, was the cleanliness. Everything was sparkling clean - the walkways, the water, the eating area, the bathrooms - very well-maintained and taken care of - kudos to the management and staff for this. It was a crowded summer day when we went (on the Tuesday before Labor Day - still lots of people!!) but there are so many activities that it didn't really hamper our enjoyment of the attractions, and we were able to easily find lounge chairs. We bought our lunch there - $6 for cheeseburgers, kind of pricey but in-line with what you'd expect - but we could have brought a lunch from home if we had wanted to. They check coolers for alcoholic beverages and glass, but everything else is allowed. (There is a roof-top beer garden in Splashtown, and another one under a tent in Funtown.) Splashtown activities range from simple and fun for little kids - like the wading pool and the pirate water area - to action packed slides and tubes. We only visited Funtown for a brief while because it was so hot, but the girls (8yo) had fun on the smaller roller-coaster and some other rides (they had fun driving the antique cars around a track). Teens and other thrill-lovers would have fun on the big roller-coaster, the "dragon's descent", and other rides. We got discounted combination tickets at our local Girl Scouts branch because the girls are Brownies, so that was a great savings for the four of us. I had forgotten to pack my flip-flops, but it didn't matter because everyone went barefoot in Splashtown - shirts and shoes are required in Funtown. By 3 the crowds had dispersed and there were very few lines - we stayed until they literally turned off the water at 6 - it had been a wonderful day, and we'll definitely go back next summer.

I took my kids here in July as my daughter's birthday present, but it was ONLY to the Splashtown part of the park. We've been to other water parks - some bigger, some smaller... more expensive, a little cheaper. One big BIG bonus about Splashtown is that they allow you to bring food. That's a HUGE deal when going there with large groups or families. The entire park is really clean and a updated. There are plenty of picnic tables and lockers, and if you get there early enough, you can get a table with an umbrella. The changing rooms are clean and there are life guards and staff all around. Try and find a Groupon or LivingSocial Deal, and you'll make out like a bandit! It's close to the highway, has tonssssss of parking and same-day re-entry!
