Odd, unfriendly, and unwelcoming staff. Inflated prices. Items offered for sale could be sold at South Of The Border. Odd, illogical items for sale. Cramped. Stuffy air. Pass this place by.
Typical gift shop with lobster- and moose-themed gifts, most made in China! I come here every year for the Stonewall Kitchen jams which are at least $1 cheaper here than at Bean in Freeport or Stonewall Kitchen in York.
It's a nice place if you are shopping for a gift. They have many different, quality items. They also have food items. Maple syrup, jams, etc. It's a good place to browse. Clean store. Pricey.
This is the place to shop for Maine gifts. Huge selection. But watch out, some things are made in Maine and those are the ones I look for and buy but some are from other places, like China. I love the raspberry honey. Buy it every year! And the fir soap in the shape of a moose!
This is the one place we take friends and family to shop when we're in Maine. Lots of great amazing gifts, in a variety of price ranges. However, this past week, my 11 year old son unfolded ONE t-shirt to see the decal before buying it, and the clerk fussed at him, saying he shouldn't unfold any more because she would have to refold them. He's a good kid, it was 1 shirt, and he was with 2 adults AND his 18 year old sister. She was unkind to a child, and she lost a lotta points for that in our book.
Loved the tons of unique, Maine items to choose from. They have many kinds of gifts: stationery, stuffed animals, jewelry, textiles, clothing and much more. Always a must to go here when visiting Maine.
