ogunquit dog park

Friendly people and dogs here. It's a bit out of the way but a nice fenced in area, lots of trees, toys and water for the pups. Plenty of chairs for people to sit. Mostly shaded but some sunshine in the front. Double gated entrance and a small side area for smaller dogs or dogs that aren't as social. We stopped every day while on vacation in the area. Everyone welcome at this dog park!

The OGT Dog Park is really straight forward. Its a relatively large dual fenced, wood chipped area. The larger fenced in area for dogs that have no issues mingling with other dogs. However, there is also a smaller fenced in areas for dogs that have sensitivities to other animals. Very smart and great idea. The welcoming area also has its own space so dogs can meet and greet upon arrival with a fence for protection. More so - while the dogs are trying to figure each other out. The people that visit the park take great care of it. For the most part - always picking up after the dogs and looking after the well being of the area. Lots of bags dispensers so no excuses! There are plenty of spots to sit and relax as your little guy/gal gets to run around. Lots of tennis balls and other toys laying around also. Additionally - plenty of drinking water access.Overall, its a great, local and convenient park for the dogs. It's off the beaten path in Ogunquit which is nice. Its never too crowded and you will see familiar faces...and tails.
