ogunquit beach

我们在这呆了几天了,我不想离开。海滩涨落潮时都很漂亮。海水是我游过的最冷的,但是一旦你进去,惊人地清新有趣。我们整个时间都像孩子一样咯咯笑。我们8月份去的,天气很好。这整个区域我都高度建议。我确定我们会回去的。

三英里长的沙滩上是金色的沙子。我们喜欢沿着沙滩散步,享受人们注视的目光。景色太美了,有陡峭的边缘路,另一个方向还有肯纳邦克波特。有许多参拜太阳者,还有许多人进到寒冷的水里。真是个不错的休闲处。

退潮的时候,海滩显得很宽阔,有足够的空间可以骑车、散步、捡贝壳等等。晚上会涨潮,海滩会变窄许多。无论是从远处还是进出,都等听到很大的海浪声。除了常见的海藻碎片外,海滩很干净。这片海滩几乎是没有尽头的,因为奥甘奎特海滩和威尔斯海滩是相连的。即使是到了仲夏季节,这里依然有足够的空间。

有很多原因让我喜欢这个海滩,在这里的散步、这里的海水、这里的波浪、潮汐河流入海的方式以及独处但是不觉得孤独的能力。我们是在五月初去的,当时不是旺季,这里很棒。

奥甘奎特的海滩总是很干净。它有出色的安全设施和救生员。便利的休息厅,步行去抢点东西吃或吃着你喜爱的蛋卷冰淇淋的喜悦是不可思议的。希望我可以花比平常一周更多的时间呆在这里。

we walked the beach several times during our week here. been here one before in August 2014, loved it then. loved running here in the morning at sunrise even more, truly an amazing place

You can't go wrong walking along a beautiful ocean beach. The sand, waves, sandpipers, seagulls, people carrying their shoes or resting..... you leave with a peaceful feeling of being close to nature. It's a great place, don't miss it.

Beach is always beautiful, whenever you decide to visit! Surprised to see people walking on the beach even though the wind was wicked, the waves were awesome

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it never gets old. I've been to many beaches in the Caribbean and Europe, but Ogunquit is still one of my favourites! Huge beach that seemingly goes on forever - great for long walks. The difference between high and low tides is incredible! It's simply a gorgeous beach with beautiful sand - not at all rocky - and some nice breakers to bodysurf. The water is freezing but it's still worth it! During the peak summer season, it gets very busy, but there are areas that are a lot more quiet if you're willing to walk a bit further down. Highly recommended!

Here's the secret to avoiding the crowds on the beach. Go in February! Yes, it was a bit nippy...translate that to amazingly cold..., but we had the place to ourselves and a few brave sea gulls...and no few to park. There's something about the ocean anytime of year that is magical. We didn't stay long, but it was wonderful, clean, sandy, easy to get to, and with a symphony of waves lapping the shore.

I have never been a beach person...until I visited Ogunquit! It is, by far, our favorite destination. The town is so quaint, not to mention all of the New England charm of the Maine shoreline. The beach has beautiful sand and a huge sandbar that allow you to walk out into the water far (the area is not rocky at all). The water and the beach are very clean and it's definitely family oriented-we've been there several times and never encountered any wild groups of people. The tides are very dramatic so be prepared to move your chairs and towels thru the day. I personally enjoy the crisp cool water of the Ogunquit waters-it gives you a chance to cool off from the hot sun! Speaking of sun, the sunrises are out of this world if you can get up early enough to see one! It is so peaceful and quiet at the beach at that time. One of our sunrise photos from Ogunquit is proudly displayed above our mantel. There are bathrooms with outdoor showers in the parking lot. I recommend arriving early due to traffic and parking.

Beach is a bit crowded in summer but always clean. Parking fees go up on weekend but we only vacation once a year so doesn't really bother us.

I'm not an expert, but I've been to many a beach and I happen to love Ogunquit's beautiful, clean beach. Yes, the water is cold--refreshing on a hot summer day! Lovely to walk along, or just lay in the sun. It has crowded spots near the beach entrance, and quiet spots further along. There are a hand full of restaurants at the entrance for a quick snack (or sit down dining before or after beach). Rest rooms and parking at the entrance. I want to go there right now!

Yes, this I one of the most beautiful beaches on the Maine Coast.Always clean. My one pet peeve if you are not a resident, the high cost of parking.

Beautiful Clean Beach! Great place to enjoy a long beach walk or just lay in the sand! Great view of rocky coast of Maine! Highly recommend spending the day!
