We were in RI over the holidays and took all the kids to Sky Zone. They had a blast! The youngest of the kids, 6 and 4, really enjoyed showing off their 'skills' and tried to imitate their older cousins. It's too bad though, the older people can't go with the younger kids... that would be my only hesitation in going again. For being the holidays, it wasn't that packed once we went, however, when we first got there, there weren't any openings until 4 hours later... so we left and came back. Fun times.
We had a awesome time with the kids. place was clean staff was really friendly. The kids really enjoyed themselves will definitely do it again!!
I went to Skyrobics for the first time tonight. I really enjoyed it. It was fun, but a very good workout. Wednesday nights are set up to be for beginners, and your first time is half price. The instructor was energetic and helpful. I felt I could do things at my own pace, but the music and instructor's energy helped me to push myself as far as I could. I highly suggest it to try something different, or for a regular workout. The facility is clean and the staff I encountered were all very nice.
We have been here a few times over the past year, and have had an awesome experience every time. The Team Members are fun, helpful & super friendly. We went on a Wednesday at 4:00 and were the only ones in the place yesterday! My daughter loves doing handsprings and flips on the tumble track. We love the basketball hoops too. It's a little hard to find, but worth it!
We love Skyzone. We were doing a day of fun for my son's birthday. We took a few of his friend's with us. Skyzone is one of his favorite places. It is always clean and the staff is usually pretty good. We usually do an hour jump. They have a dodgeball area, which is probably the busiest area. They have basketball hoops which is a nice touch. They have a foam pit and the regular jump area. They have a snack bar which is convenient. There is also a bubbler, which is great because everyone gets so hot and tired. I like having an option where the kids can get really active. It is decently priced. There are lockers offered for your things. There is seating for those who do not want to jump. Strongly recommend.
I went to Sky Zone today for 'Toddler Time' which is currently being offered Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30-11am for $13 per child. The facility is new, clean, and well staffed. I went with my 3 year old. We had a fun time, but I've been to two other indoor trampoline parks for similar toddler times and I preferred what they offered better. The differences that I found were 1. the pricing is $3 more than the other places I've been; 2. they require that you wear their shoes/socks to jump - the shoes were free to rent (like a bowling alley), but there is a one time fee to purchase socks; 3. you can't jump in the same space as the kids - adults can jump on the other side of a net from the kids. Although I understand this is based on safety, it is so much easier the other way when your kids want to and are used to playing with you. 4. the whole space isn't open during toddler time, just the main court - again, at the other places the whole place was open including basketball courts and foam pits which was fun for variety. The benefits of Sky Zone to me were the hours of the program and the location. As I said, it was clean and seemed to be very well run, but knowing the other places I've been I would rate this 'Toddler Time' as the bottom. There are private rooms for parties which was nice, but a fair amount of trash in the parking lot which wasn't very attractive.
Everyone in my school was talking about sky zone and when I heard it was an indoor trampoline it had to be the most interesting things I could imagine being in! I honestly didn't know what to expect. My friends had a couple of coupons, but it's actually inexpensive on it's own! When I first walked in, everyone was extremely welcoming, and the people at the register had me super pumped! They were so energetic, and it's always awesome to see a big smile when you walk into a building. They provided shoes for us, and made the experience extremely animated. Once we got to the main trampoline, they provided us safety rules, and made the experience fun but warned us of what could happen if we aren't careful. Not only did they have regular trampolines, but dodge ball trampoline, and a foam pit where you jump into through a trampoline. It is open for people of all ages, therefore, there's a wide variety of people which makes it so much more exciting. They have a special program on fridays which is 18+, which is really cool because it's almost set like a date night. In addition, as you're having fun you have a workout too! When I went we were really working out and were breaking a sweat!
