When a went on the Bay Queen, well the last time cause I went a few times, I was just graduated high school in '97 and my best friend , a male I was secretly in love with, was about to leave to Chicago for college soon and I wanted to treat him to a" last goodbye "night out. And it was the best night of my life. The band was amazing and we went in the evening and enjoyed the night sky. I actually got to sing with the band an old song but a classic, "could I have this dance" I don't remember by who. It's actually older than me, lol, (the song)!! But we also went with another couple who also happened to be our best friends who ended up being a couple. But the staff was amazing, the food was great, and that was a night I'll cherish forever. Especially since a year later we both went on living our separate lives and never spoke again. I still love him, even tho we both have our families, and he'll always have a special place in my heart and memory. As will the Bay Queen. Wish it was a happy ending but this was suppose to be a review and it is lol. It's even more sad that I can't make new memories with my husband now because they closed down. But I will always remember the Bay Queen.

I enjoyed the cruise, luncheon was equally good. Great way to get pictures of lighthouses. The boat is roomy and I didn't feel crowded. The crew and staff were accommodating. Would go again.

sorry to say they shut down the operation and it was a shame as it was a really nice trip with entertainment and food. It does happen

The food was good, the music was great, but the view was the best of all. We traveled with a group of friends and the ship's staff did a fantastic job at keeping everyone happy.

The Bay Queen cruise lines offers a variety of dinner and brunch theme cruises. It docks from Warren RI (on Water Street) and cruises to Newport RI. Offering an exceptional buffet and live music, this cruise ship has two large dining areas (both with full bars) that are located on the first and second decks. The cruise ship travels from Warren to Newport RI where it docks at Bowen's Warf for a 2 hour stay. With plenty to do in this area of Newport; outdoor dining and gift shops, you won't be bored during your brief stay. Prices are reasonable, although prices tend to vary depending on the theme or time of day. Theme cruises include 80's nights, jazz cruises, firework cruises, Halloween costume parties, sunset cruises, and a wide variety of other affairs. Dining areas can be reserved for large parties. This cruise is great for weddings, reunions, or just a day out with family & friends.
