Goddard Park is really beautiful. There's a nice beach and gorgeous grounds with lots of picnic areas. there's also a very nice golf course.

I love this park. Large picnic areas and plenty of areas to go walking and jogging. A great get-a-way for the day. Park is kept clean and you can hold outdoor events there such as family reunions and birthday parties.

Visiting the area recently, we drove around to get a feel for the area, and quite randomly came across the Park. Very nice greenspace and it ends with a beach of all things. Though not actually in the park, it was all part and parcel. Well worth the trip, as well as a beautiful golf course.

good walking trails right by water , can go horseback riding, golfing or to beach . has picnic tables in summer. good place for family cookouts.

Nice inexpensive muni golf course cook sites. Also nice beach . Check tides low tide means a walk to decent water depths .

Every trip to Rhode Island, I always manage to drive thru Goddard State Park. To reach the park, drive Down route 1, Post Rd thru East Greenwich and at the bottom of the hill, bear left at the rotary. After about 1 mile, look for the signs to the entrance of the park. Here you will find acres of grassy lawns, trees and open fields. There are picnic tables and stone fireplaces. Pack a lunch and enjoy a day at the park. Plenty of open areas for ball games and many other sports activities. There is an equestrian area, and miles of paths, a nine hole golf course and a beach area at the end. Also a large hall for weddings and other events. There is no fee to enter the park, beach area, or field area. You should check with the park for details on the golf course. The park is open from dawn to dusk, I guess no specific hours, but they do patrol the areas, so I guess if they are closing, will let you know. There are restrooms scattered throughout the park

I walked out here from East Greenwich. A 14 km hike. There was a farmers market on. Not sure how often it occurs but it was Friday morning. The autumn trees were stunning and I walked through the bush to Long Point. Toilets are located a little further around near the impressive carousel performing arts centre.My only complaint would be a total lack of signage within the park. I was using only google maps which lacks detail.I don't think you could really get lost but it still would have been nice. Easy walking for all ages. I imagine the water is nice in summer.

If you are in the East Greenwich or Warwick area, its worth a visit. A beautiful park with golf, horse back riding and a beach. Not the most pristine waters but safe.

I love the hiking and walking trails here. We take the dogs too. You can go horseback riding, swimming or play golf. There is a carousel and picnic area. Clean restrooms and a snack bar.

I took my grandson over for his cross country training for school. Very very nice park and really well kept. The beach area was pristine.

This use to be a great park, but has gone completely down hill. Firstly, almost throughout the year the walking paths are covered in horse manure. It is absolutely everywhere and disgusting. Not to mention is is sometimes on the beach. Second, during the summer months the park seems to attract trashy people who play offensive music extremely loud from their vehicles - so much for enjoying nature because you can hear this music all through the woods. Third, there is trash all over the beach and even in the woods, especially on a Monday during the summer. The worst section is the beach/wood area near the main parking lot. It use to be a great and convenient spot I went to throughout the year for over a decade, but I do not bother going anymore.

What a great afternoon riding thru lovely trails and along the water! Haven"t ridden in a long time, but felt very comfortable&secure! My horse, Pepper, was a sweetie! Nice folks at the stables! Give it a go,!!

This place is great went a few times , Where water shoes lot of shells my daughter got cut the first time I went , But the lifeguards treated her right away and they were great. Second time she had soo much fun, Wore water shoes this time. , You are allowed to bring a float , which we did and you can use it on one side of the beach, Its a nice calm beach no waves , some people bring music that might bother some people not me really as long as there is no swears and stuff like that. THere is a concession stand cash only , Its free you can bring coolers there is a beautiful golf course , and many picnic areas,,, Oh yeah did I mention its free , lots of parking....

It is a treasure in RI...one we probably take for granted! Dogs welcomed, but like everywhere else they are welcome PLEASE pick up after them! This is great location any time of year. We have our family picnics every year and our site holds more than 200 people and all of our cars. We also had a Halloween scavenger hunt there this year and it was outstanding! You have to reserve your site, but it's really inexpensive! Don't forget to check out the beach! Please help keep it clean

Went there for a cookout. Lots of sites to picnic. The bathrooms are clean. It is near the water. The sites are clean.
