I loved the stops along this beautiful drive. Many pictures to be taken along the way. We stopped at Kings Beach for a peaceful view of the ocean. We went all along the route and though we did not view the inside of any of the mansions this time, I would highly recommend it.

Ocean Drive in Newport, RI is a relaxing drive where travelers can take in stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The drive has two main areas to park and only a short walk from the beach. I visited during the winter, but still a worthwhile drive! Not only are there stunning views of the Atlantic, but many beautiful mansions scatter the hills along the drive. I would definitely recommend making the trip and riding down Ocean Drive.

Ocean drive is beautiful. Driving past the mansions is nice but once you get out of the town proper is when the drive is truly the best. The view of the ocean at the tip is just beautiful and the way the waves crash together is stunning. As someone who loves to take pictures it is a wonderful drive to stop long to take some beautiful shots.

We decided to ignore what our GPSr was telling us and decided to take this drive. Absolutely stunning views everywhere along the drive. We were excited to see what was new at every turn along the way. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Ocean drive is a must when in Newport. Even though it is winter, it's beautiful! The ice and snow on the rocky shore is really beautiful to see. Very different than the summer scene but worth the ride. Many good restaurants in town to warm you up after the drive. Enjoy!

Take ocean drive from Bellevue to Castle Hill for great ocean scenery. Stop at Brenton Point to walk along the rocky shore, soak up some sun, watch the boats go by or enjoy the kite flying all summer. There are also walking trails, great for kids and dogs.

It was frigidly cold, but the drive was so beautiful. The wind blew the snow across the road and we felt that we were the only people in the world. I am sure that it is not like this in the summer. Worth the drive.

Whether you're here for a day or forever, a quick drive around Ocean Drive is worth it. Start from the Mansions on Broadway and just keep hugging the coast, or start from Downtown and do the same thing in the opposite direction. Many places to stop and enjoy the ocean. Making the drive on a motorcycle or convertible for two is even better!

We always take this drive when we're in Newport. The combination of the rocky coast and view of Narragansett Bay, and the beautiful homes along the way make it an enjoyable visit.

If you are in Newport and have some extra time, take a drive on Ocean Drive. The views are really beautiful. There are plenty of places to pull over so you can take some photos. I just love this rocky coastline.

You travel along Ocean Drive to go to tour the mansions. Its a lovely drive and our tour guide gave us some history and showed us the sites along the way. I'd recommend a guided tour as you'll miss the history and won't know what you're looking at along the way.

If you travel to Newport and have time ,take the drive well worth it. Stop and see the great views of the water on the way and visit the breakers/ marble house

We loved our lazy drive along the coast. Beautiful homes and stunning seaside views. Nice way to spend a cold afternoon.
