Park and walk through this lovely cemetery. Just a simple spot with several markers and monuments for Berea citizens, famous and not. The Fee Family who founded the college are here, as well as "Rebecca - Beloved wife." Cemeteries are certainly life's equalizers. Take 1016 just outside of town.

Founded in 1876, John G. Fee, founder of Berea College, purchased the first burial lots. Now grown to twenty-eight acres, the grounds encompasses six thousand or more burials. Several prominent men and women featured throughout the history books rest in this historical place. Rows of beautiful flowers honor the many people who now rest in the Berea Cemetery. People such as President and founder of Berea College John G. Fee, William Goodell Frost, and John Bell Stephenson. All three men served to make Berea College into the institution it is today.
