constitution square historic site

Nice place for a quick visit. There are tables for picnicking so it's a nice place to take a lunch break. If you are in to history, take the time to read the plaques as they contain historical information about Danville and the drafting of the State constitution.

We spent some time enjoying our bakery in the park. It is a neat area to sit and relax. Some historic information and interesting replicas. We had a short visit, but it's worth the stop.

this is a great place to go and walk around and see all the history it has, close to down town to where you can walk and site see the historic downtown Danville.

This block of restored buildings from the early days of Kentucky is charming, but more could be done to add to and to preserve the buildings and the artifacts in them. I learned a lot about early KY history I didn't know before, especially from the display of Kentucky governor's at the Main Street corner of the square. Danville's Constitution Square is a fantastic spot for anyone wanting to know about the beginnings of the state of Kentucky.

Perfect oasis in the middle of Danville, KY. Grab lunch and head here for a picnic and to view the historic buildings.

Enjoyed the old log buildings and the history. I didn't know Kentuckys' Constitution was signed there.
