We went on Sunday after looking for fall activities. We paired this up with a local apple orchard so it was worth the drive. There were a lot of activities mostly geared toward the children. The price seems a bit high for adults since I am mostly walking around watching my daughter play. I might go back if I was in the area but would not likely make a special trip.
Bi-water autumn fest has been a tradition for my son to take my granddaughter but this was my first visit. It is a large farm which has added a store to sell apples and some veggies and processed items, a bit overpriced. The cost for farm play area is $10 a head for each child and adult except for babies. There a petting zoo with billy goats behind fences and some other animals and food dispensers for coins. There are outside faucets to wash hands, but no towells. There is no drinking water or regular tiolets, only port-o-lets not well attended in a row near one barn. There is a vending machine which does not accept credit or debit cards to buy a $2 bottle of water. Suggest you take your own or cash to buy from vending machine or overpriced apple drinks at store. They have two low key house/barns with Halloween themes, but not slightly scary so little ones should be fine. There are several playgrounds they appear to have built themselves from large plastic drainage pipes for 2 big slides which kids liked. They also have large cut off sections of plastic pipe for human hamster wheels kid powered. There is a track for oversized trikes but not for very tall kids. There is a zipline setup which the kids I accompanied had difficulty using as they were either too tall to slide or not tall enough to reach the bars. There is an area for bouncing on balls. The hay ride takes you from the front or middle of the attraction to the corn maze and pumpkin patch. The 10 and 11 year old girls and 21 month old boy all made it through fine. The play areas provided a few hours fun for the girls, who made up their own versions of everything for fun, but the taller girl was frustrated that she could not do a lot that her shorter friend could on the equipment. The 21 month old could have cared less about most of it but did like going down the tube slide with his dad. I would have appreciated better tiolet facilites and more handwashing areas as well as water coolers available as the day was hot and the walk long back to the portolets and vending machines. Since I am a senior and went to watch the two girls I didn't get $10 out of it either. I also was too big/tall for the stuff to play on so it wouldn't have worked even if I was younger. From what I observed, it is fun for youngsters of a certain age as long as they are not by themselves and have a pal along. The food truck cafe had a line but we ate for less off property. Probably will try to get out of child care duties on this attraction in future. My friend told me of another attraction where parents and supervising adults don't pay so might go to that if asked. If your kids want to go, take them but bring a lot of cash. You must supervise your kids as no staff in play areas only tractor driver for hay ride. There are two staff to check you have paid and staff for store and food truck. Suggest they spend a few bucks on adding water station in back with big coolers like at group picnics and a shade place with bench for supervising adults who pay admission. Just to be hospitable.
Adults pay to walk around and supervise. I would much rather go to Evans orchards, cleaner and kids have more fun. People are rude at bi water.
One of the better pumpkin patches in this area. Multiple attractions fun for family and friends. Shop has some good food but is a tad pricey. Be sure to check it out right along the creek. Parents can enter and save $ by getting the kids the attraction combos and parents can enjoy watching.......................................................
We took a 2 y/o and 4 y/o to the Autumnfest celebration last month and they had a great time. We paid less than $40 for admission for the four of us and spent a few hours on hay rides, a haunted house, a corn maze, and a bunch of other playtime activities and playgrounds for kids. The prepared food was good at the end of the trip and we intend to return next fall.
I took my daughter, son & grandson for the afternoon and we all had a blast. Corn maze, human "hamster wheels" (our favorite), petting farm, all kinds of farm fun. The funnel cakes & apple cider slushies were awesome too. My only suggestion would be to move a couple of the port-a-potties and maybe a drink station further in towards the hamster wheels. My daughter is 8 months pregnant and between the heat/distance from drinks and the distance to the bathrooms, she wasn't able to stay as long as she could have. Overall, a great place to spend time in nature with the family.
Living in Georgetown, bi-watwe is the go to for family fun! Kids get an educational experience on where their produce comes from! We go back seasonally time after time!!
I took my niece and nephew last year for the autumfest and we have a wonderful time. The kids loved it!! Their favorite part was the goats. We also liked walking through the corn maze. I will for sure be taking them back this year along with my one year old!!!
My mother and I take my child(ren) every fall to the "pumpkin pasture" as my now 5 year old says. We absolutely love all of the activities that are available. He asks me year round when we are going back! Great place to spend a whole day with the family!!!
My kids and I love going here. it is a chance to escape the fast paced lifestyle of today. We ho every year during Autumfest and just enjoy ourselves. From the corn maze to the hay rides to mini attractions it has a little bit of everything for all ages.
we went to the farm to see if we could find a variety of tomatoes . They only had regualr tomatoes on the day of our visit. Also the prices for apples was really high. They had beautiful mum plants out back but they were more expensive than the ones we could get similar at home. The kid things there wasnt something that we were interested in so I can t say anything about the activities.
I went to Bi-Water Farm last autumn with my daughter's school. I'll admit that I was a little grumpy after finding out that parents had to pay to get in just to walk around and help supervise, but I paid regardless. As we entered the grounds a man asked for my ticket. I had no idea what he was talking about and told him I didn't have one. His response to me was, "well you didn't pay." I assured him I did and he proceeded to get very rude with me. I wasn't going to pay twice and when he realized I wasn't budging on the issue he told me, "Fine. If you're not going to pay then just go on it." I am an extremely honest person and have never been treated like that. It was embarrassing and rude. Looking back, I wish I had insisted on him checking his credit card receipts to see that I had paid. Even without the rude service, I would not go back. The farm is run down and everything is quite overpriced. Evan's Orchard is much nicer and their staff is wonderful.
They have really added to the activities for families. Lots to do. Wagon rides, pick your pumpkin, corn maze, tasty treats, music. Go & make a day of it.
Love the October fests.. Petting zoo, pumkin picking, hay rides, cornfield mazes, cute gift shop and fun story telling for the children. Good family fun
B-Water has very good produce and an excellent pumpkin patch. It's a fun experience. The corn maze is not the best, though.
