We've been coming here for twenty-five years, beginning when it was still operated by the original owner and was on a floating dock.Several years ago it was sold and the next owner moved the restaurant to a site in the middle of the parking lot but with his poor customer-service attitude, ran off many patrons who had been regulars for twenty years.Although they kept the popular "Rudy Burger" on the menu, the sirloin beef patties were substituted with something less expensive and it became just an over-priced burger.Enter current owners who redecorated and cleaned up the restaurant, renamed it Hu-B's, completely revamped the menu, updated and improved the marina and have transformed it back to a place where people want to come for a good time.A few food items could stand improvement but they are working on expanding the kitchen to handle more than just deep-fried foods and quick-serve items.Evenings are busy inside and out and weekends are jumping with people enjoying the live music and adult beverages on the new deck overlooking the marina.The marina has many new slips and there are now air-conditioned toilets & showers for boaters over-knighting in the transient slips.The public launch ramp has been widened to accommodate two boats at a time now and there is no longer a service fee.We still miss the famous "Rudy Burger" though.

Kuttawa Harbor has a great lounge area. It is a wonderful place to go with friends. They have an outdoor area, so great in the summer time as the outdoor portion is separate areas for groupsof from a few to 8-10 where you can have dinner, a drink or two, site right beside Barkley Lake and enjoy a summer breeze. They have a band on weekends and holidays.

This marina is full service and much updated since it changed hands. It's much better run and friendly (the previous owners just didn't understand customer service). Now serving alcohol at the restaurant and with live music on weekends during the summer season. It's a fun place, but the food needs improving. Really miss the old Rudy Burger on the menu. The HuB Burger is not nearly as good. They really messed up when they lost the right to use the original Rudy Burger recipe when the place changed hands.

Had a pair of Keds that were more tender than the steak sandwich which cost over ten bucks. Grissel was included in vast amounts too. Nice place except for the food.

Marina was easy access .. connects right to Lake Barkley ... Make sure to stop at Ku-B's to eat ... excellent food at very VERY reasonable price

Great place to stop in and enjoy the view on the lake. Chicken sandwich was delish and all the food was good and reasonably priced.

Great marina with ample parking, unlike Buzzard Rock. Live music and fireworks on site also. Nice dock for putting the boat in the water.

Food is fine, view is great...but I hate the styrofoam plates. Using china would improve the whole experience for me.

I've been to a lot of marinas. This is one of the best. The owners know how to run a service business- the property is clean, neat, and well maintained. The staff is well-trained, friendly and they treat customers in a way that makes them glad to spend their money at the marina. I have been to more than a few marinas where customers are treated with a level of indifference that can only come from the top.The restaurant's food is certainly not gourmet, but it's a MARINA for heaven's sake! It is what one would expect at a waterside restaurant- burgers, sandwiches, appetizers. Our lunch was just fine and a good value for the venue.This property was on life support before the current owners took it over. It should be studied by management students as an example of how to bring a business roaring back.

It is a crowded parking lot with people that have no other place to go. They have some boats in the marina dumping sewage which is fun to smell while you are eating over priced food. Be sure and enjoy. Not.

Our church met at the picnic area. It was nice and clean. Lots of tables. The view is beautiful. Look forward to visiting here again

We rent boats from marinas all over TN & KY and we loved the friendly staff and excellent service @ Hu'Bs. The food is good as well and affordable. We will definitely come back.

i loved the marina theres a restaurant right on the water the its just good eats and great people.the price is right also,wish i could stay longer,

was on the water and we saw geese flying and little baby geese and boats the lake was beautiful and it is a wonderful place to just get away for a relaxing vacation

Kuttawa Harbor is the jewel on Lake Barkley. The new owners are so friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is the best on the lake. Old kuttawa looks like cape cod. so beautiful. Hubee's, which is in Kuttawa harbor, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner plus drinks. all of the food is so good. Haven't got a bad meal there yet. The little store has alot of cute items too. And they have ice cream! Barkley Lake is not crowed like other lakes and has lots of coves where you can pull your pontoon right up on the shore and spend the day swimming, fishing and just relaxing. Lots to do in the area and Land Between the Lakes is always so much fun with lots to do for both adults and kids. be sure to stop at Kuttatwa Harbor and eat at Hubee's at least once. I am from St. Louis and just love the lakes area.
