if you're a fan of microbrews and love the tour experience, you need to stop here! It's a great atmosphere, the people are super friendly and knowledgeable. don't forget the beer! it's great tasting too!

Took the tour with the brewery and distillery. It's a newcomer to distilleries in comparison to the others in the area. They do make some great beer and good bourbon.

We paid to take the brewing and distillery tours. I was surprised that the brewing tour only included trying the beers they brewed. The distillery tour did show the room where they distilled the spirits, stored and bottled them. I was disappointed at the overall tour or lack of a thorough tour. I did try the Town Branch Bourbon and bought a bottle. It does not taste like the sample I had at the distillery. Not sure what that is about.

We had a company outing at this distillery while in Lexington. It was really fun. Everything I tasted was good and I'm not a beer drinker. Saved most of my tokens for the whiskey, so smooth!Definitely recommend! Dale was a great tour guide!Melissa

On my first visit to Lexington my friends brought me here and I really liked it, so when I returned this year, I asked them to go once again. Why? Very interesting tour, but most importantly it is a place where you can taste delicious beer and bourbon! And both are really good!Although you get tickets for samples, I thought that I had plenty of tasting. The distillery and brewery is small enough to enjoy, and it is new and modern.

Enjoy the tour learned a lot about bourbon and ale making and got to taste very good Bourbon ale and a bourbon and coffee liqueur. Bought a bottle of the liquor to bring home.

The "brew-stillery" tour was unique and awesome. The tour guide was very entertaining. He asked questions of the group, trivia style. I appreciated the fact that upon giving the answer to some of the questions, he added, "I didn't know this before I worked here." This told me that he worked hard to get all the facts down. And there was no sacrificing his humorous personality in doing so.The sampling was great. The bourbons are not my favorites, but the way one man made his dream a reality and named his own spirit is pretty cool. The beers I had always thought of as a "when in Rome" type of thing. I'd drink them at functions or if they were convenient. But, I'd never had the seasonal pumpkin ale or the bourbon barrel stout. They were really fantastic and I'll buy some.I recommend doing the tour. It's worth every bit of 7 bucks and then some.

We were driving through the area, and decided to stop and take a tour. We have been to MANY distillery tours, and wanted yet another stamp in our Bourbon passport. The video to start was interesting, but the tour was something we had never experienced. First, you get the beer tour, and then the distillery tour, which is something unique. When we bought the tickets, the lady told us, since we each had (4) tastings, to share, that way we can taste more items. What a FANTASTIC idea, and that is exactly what we did !! There were all of (2) things we didn't taste, and we were very happy with that !!The tour guide was fun, and the tour was very intriguing. Definitely worth a stop !!

First came across Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale a couple of years ago and it's one of my favorites. Since we were passing through the Lexington area, we stopped to tour the brewery. The tour was a lot of fun. You get to sample some of their beer/spirits as part of the tour, but it would have been fun even without the samples. Tour guide's name was Scott ( I think) and he was very knowledgeable, and very personable, and really did a great job. Cool gift shop in their visitors center, nice group of folks all around. If/when I get back to Lexington, I plan to do it all over again. Hard to get enough of a good thing...If you like a good beer, or want to try a new brand of bourbon, stop in and check them out.

The tour was great and the staff great. Save two tickets for the bourbon section of the tour because it's easy to spend them all on their delicious beer!

An interesting, informative and fun way to spend an hour or so. Found it to be much more personal than some of the many wine tours we have taken here in California. Did come home with a bottle to enjoy this winter.

I've been on distillery tours, and I've been on many brewery tours....but this was my 1st opportunity to do both at once. Dillon (sp?) treated us all very well. He had great knowledge about the history of bourbon, the brewing and distillation process, and did a very fine job of describing the different flavors of the beer and spirits we were allowed to sample. I think our group was a mix of people along for the ride and hardcore malt enthusiasts. I think the tour was a good blend for both with a chance to see and walk right through the whole process.

They focus on the owners and how much money they have and not on the products. It's a really fast élan thru and you don't learn a lot from the tasting. Our tour guide was very funny but didn't know a lot about the product. Would not recommend the tour, there are many better things to see in the area.

Just got back after taking the tour of the distillery & brewery. Each visitor receives a choice of 4 beers or bourbons to taste so if there are two of you and you want to share you can actually taste a combination of 8 beers/bourbons. This distillery is much smaller than some of the well known distileries such as Wild Turkey or Jim Beam. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a discount for military personnel - just let them know you are/were in the military. We had fun and got more than enough beer and bourbon to taste. They have a nice gift shop with plenty of free parking behind the distillery. The loaction is close to downtown and not far from the Univ of KY. It was an informative tour.

I had recently just visted the brewery with my boyfriend and I have to say; the experience went over and beyond what I was expecting. We were welcomed right away by the staff. Our tourguide was Dillion, he was very knowledgeable about thier products and the history of them. He made the tour fun and exciting we really enjoyed ourselves, and hopefully we will be back soon, and recommend it to others. Thanks again for the great experience.
