This park has something for everyone.From the complete fenced in playground with just about every kind of play ground equipment you can imagine to the beautiful lake where you can feed ducks geese and fish, even fishing. There are basket ball, football,baseball and tennis courts. Great place to visit for the day with the family.

Feed the ducks! Walk, sit by the water, picnic, watch a ball game! Lots do do or just sit back and relax! Beautiful park!

This is a great place for all to visit. There is something here for everyone. It's a great place to picnic, sit and read, feed the ducks or fish. Highly recommended.

Im been coming here for years. They have ball fields, lots of space for running around, play areas, and a nice lake for fishing or boating.

A lovely lake full of ducks, fishing, feeding ducks, boating.... Lovely shed for having your lunch...So many equipment for kids in play area that they will not even can sit for a single moment....what they do is just play play & play...I my kids and my Spouse are in love wid this park....

My kids are 4 & 2 and we love the toddler playground. IT's got wood chip ground with rubber coated equipment & a fence that covers the area so your kids cannot easily run off.Well kept play grounds, good fishing, lots of friendly ducks.Also there is always someone on staff. You can view the Fighter Jets on display (real size ), play ultimate golf, enjoy some of the scenic walks. Even a nice stage area for a wedding or event!

The kids love the playground and feeding the ducks. They also have nice picnic areas, and sports fields.

I went to the park to get in a little fishing while the family was in Bowling Green. The Bass were biting and I caught one. Catch and release for me. The only downside is that there are geese all over the place. So that mean a lot of Geese poop was everywhere I placed my foot. Overall great park to visit.

We took our boats out early in the morning, and had a great time...Inflatable boats, kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized boats are permitted...In the state of Kentucky, all persons under 18 must be wearing a coast-guard approved life vest while using watercraft, and persons over 18 must have one available within reach...Fishing is permitted from a boat or from the bank...The water is clean and clear...The lake is a decent size, but not large enough for a high volume of use, so as more and more people arrived, we decided to wrap it up...It's a nice facility and it was a lot of fun...The surrounding area (outside of the park, restaurants and such) is a bit old, and it shows, but the people are generally nice.

Our 1.5 and 4 year-olds loved the playground! There is a wide variety of equipment, including swings, slides if all kinds, a climbing spider web, a climbing wall, monkey bars, spinning things, and a roller conveyor slide (a new one for us). There are several benches, some are even in shade. We go to a lot of playgrounds, and this is easily one if the nicest ones we've tested. My only complaint is that I did not see bathrooms near the playground, but luckily we didn't need them during our hour+ stay.

Basil Griffin is a nice park with playground equipment, disc golf, ball diamonds, roller hockey, historic planes & a small lake that can be fished by boat (no gas engines allowed. There is a paved ramp.) It is best fished by kayak, but plenty of shoreline & can be reached without a wilderness hike. Your chances are best at catching catfish, but there is bass, carp, trout & bluegill for sure. A fishing license is required, & DNR does patrol it & will check for it.It's a great & well maintained park that is tremendously convenient.

We had a picnic here after visiting the flea market just up the road. The lake is really nice. There was plenty of parking right in front of a large shelter. We watched the duck & geese and people fishing as we ate. There were some air planes to look at as well, but it was a quick stop for us, as we were headed to another flea market down the road.

As the title suggests this park has it all. There are multiple baseball fields on each side of a beautiful lake. There is also a peewee football field and a large playground on one side. On the opposite side there is a large grass area with 2 soccer goals. There is a very large Inline hockey rink that is brand new and has stands and a scoreboard. It is fenced in and is adjacent to a set of basketball courts with all brand new goals.There is a new parks and recreations building near the larger baseball fields and a nice bridge over the water. This bridge leads over to a set of tennis courts. There is also a large disc golf course that runs throughout the park. There is an outdoor amphitheater as well. There is a large covered area next to a few grills where you will often see a picnic or a birthday party. Fishing. The fishing is fantastic here. It is a fully stocked lake. From March through August they stock it with 2900 catfish a month. They also routinely stock trout. You can also catch some good sized largemouth bass, sunfish, and even some carp. You can occasionally hook into some turtles or crawfish.his park has anything outdoorsy you could ever want to do and it is well maintained. It's my favorite thing in bowling green.

Все зависит от возраста и интересов.Но кто бы ни приходил сюда, никто не может остаться равнодушным по отношению к всемирно известному полю для гольфа. Оно фактически начинается в лесу, простирается над оврагами и разнообразными водными преградами. Здесь неповторимый ландшафт, мы побывали и на вершине холма, перебрались и через забор, и через ручей, и через мост, где-то обзору мешали деревья, а где-то широкая посадочная зоны прерывалась живописной поляной, красивым спуском.Гольфистам приходится преодолевать достаточно большие расстояния, а на открытых местах учитывать ветер.Конечно есть карта и ты легко ориентируешься по вывескам и стрелкам, поэтому никто не может заблудиться. Парк действительно хороший, со многими удобствами.
