Did the zip line today a must do if your in Louisville and try to get Matt and Austin they were fun, masters of their crafts and extremely knowledgeable of the history of the caverns. They were great with everyone from kids on up.
took my husband here for his birthday did the ziplines and mega questquest.Cameron an robinson were our zipline guides they were funny and upbeat. Would definitely suggest doing zipline with them two.The mega quest looks easy but you'll definitely work up a sweat was overall really fun and a new adventure.
Ziplining in a cavern is exhilarating! Our guides Mike and Christoffer made everyone feel comfortable and were very friendly. This is one of the most unique thrills I have experienced. It is highly recommended that you give it a shot if you are thinking about it.
We took a scout group ziplining today. Cameron and Robinson were our guides. They were excellent. Fun and very patient with us nervous first timers. I had never been ziplining before and this was an excellent place to try it out. The caverns are astonishing and I felt very safe and secure the whole time.
First time zip lining and I was very nervous! Our guides Doc and Emily put me right at ease! It was so much fun! Can't wait to do it again!
Our trip was fantastic. The cavern is so cool, and the zip lines are unparalleled. It's an adventure... no pansy zip lines involved. My friend took me to help me "conquer my fear of heights." It did not work. :) But it was a really terrific experience. Our guides, Isaac and Gage, were top-notch. I'd recommend making sure you catch Mega Cavern if you're in the area.
A fantastically unique experience that is worth a repeat visit. We recently came to Louisville for a show we were seeing, but needed something fun and exciting to do prior to fill our time. TripAdvisor had some great recommendations and the Zip-Lining Tour through Louisville Mega Caverns was AMAZING. Such a fun experience and totally left us in awe. The staff made this even BETTER! Our tour guides (Kelsey and Kevin) were absolutely fantastic. Professional, fast, humorous and a great time all around. I'd love to bring more people with us next time we visit. It's great for families, friends, couples, etc.I highly recommend this experience, if you get the chance or need something to do, it's reasonably priced and is an experience unlike anything else!
I visited the Cavern to try out the Zipline Course on a recent trip to Louisville and loved every minute of it.The tour group that I was a part of was led by Kevin and Kelsey (Hi, guys!). They were both incredibly fun and informative, made our tour so much fun, and kept the group moving through the course very quickly. I was worried with the number of people that it might be slow-moving but that definitely wasn't the case. The Zipline Course was so much fun. Each one offered something different than those you'd been on before and the challenge bridges weren't just fillers between the lines. They were both different and, in my opinion, much more intimidating than the Ziplines. There were lockers available to leave behind items you didn't want to take on the tour for only a dollar, the gift shop had a lot to choose from and the prices were very reasonable, and the bathroom facilities were incredibly clean.Even though this was over a three hour drive from where I live, I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again and trying out the Mega Quest and the Tram Tour!
My son drove us (my daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and myself) through Mega Cavern this past Christmas season. The displays and coordinated music was very special, unique, and entertaining through all of our generations. We must plan a repeat next Christmas season, especially since no other option is comparable.
Went for the MegaZip tour with my daughter during her break. Zipping through the cavern and walking on suspension bridges in the dark was awesome - very different experience. Our tour guides, Austin and Emily, made sure everyone was safe and comfortable before and after every ride. They kept the tour fun and entertaining with brief history and tidbits of the cave. Definitely worth the money!
I was at a conference in Louisville and a couple of my fellow attendees asked if I wanted to go zip lining for 60 bucks. I thought they were joking. Then they told me it was in a cave and it was the only place in the world like it. I considered this and the fact that my wife wouldn't get on a zip line with a gun to her head and figured this was my only chance to check it out. I am so glad I did! It's not actually a cave, its a HUGE deactivated limestone mine. All of the zip lines are under-ground and take you through and over very cool and interesting parts of the cavern. The 60 bucks gets you about 2 and a half hours of zip lining. I have paid much more for less entertaining things. The guides handle everything, so all you have to do is enjoy the ride and the cool views. Our guides were Jess and Justin, and they should probably give awesome lessons to all of the other guides.Unless you're like my wife and have a completely psychotic fear of being more than 6 inches off the ground, DO THIS! It's completely safe, it's a blast, and you can only do it in one place on the entire planet.By the way, there's also a cool little ropes course for the younger kids. It's like the worlds most awesome jungle gym. Justin and Jess said they've kiddos as young as 7 on the zip lines, but if you're not comfortable with that, there are fun alternatives. The Mega Cavern is great. Well worth the money and time spent. I'll definitely make a return trip if at all possible next time I'm in Louisville.
We had such a blast!! Our guides Matt and Cameron were awesome! We have been ziplining before but the Mega Cavern takes things to a new level! The fun is well worth every penny spent there!
This was very interesting. The old signs along the hall to the gift shop and some sort of kiddy play land were very worn. The ride on a vehicle through the cavern was interesting and it did not cost a lot. Interesting bit of history of the cavern and what it is used for today.
My best friend is visiting from Tampa, Florida. We had the best time and best tour guides possible! Very informative and it was awesome zippin! Totally worth the price.
This place was awesome! Our guides were Kevin and Max--fun, funny, super helpful. There are lockers there for $1 and they offer pouches to connect to your harness to keep you cellphone or camera in. Just do it!
