My husband likes to visit distilleries and sample/taste the different brands/kinds. The man behind the counter (who seemed to be right out of high school but then, I'm old so everyone under 30 looks like that to me) was exceptionally informative about different whiskeys, bourbons, ryes, gins, etc. They have quite the long bar where people can belly up and have a sip, talk to one another, visit, etc. and they have a few tables where groups can come in and do the same. I sat at the table crocheting, as I don't drink, but they included me in their conversations, which I thought was quite delightful. We purchased a bottle of Whistling Andy's Bourbon (not the Honey Whiskey) and served it after dinner to some of our friends later in the week. Everyone sipping it agreed that is was quite tasty and very easy on the throat. If you're not used to distilleries the smell might get you when you first walk in but after a few moments, you don't notice it at all.

Great place to stop if you have any interest in distilled spirits. The bourbon is possibly the smoothest bourbon I've ever tasted. A flight of 4 tastes is reasonably priced and if you buy a bottle of spirits, then the tasting is free. Tours at 12:30 and 4, which are short and very informal, but informative. The bartender was very friendly. There is a cocktail menu available too, in case you don't want the liquor straight up.

Stopped into to this tasting room and was delighted by the array offerings, Rum, Gin, Bourbon, and a Whiskey. My favorite is the Hibiscus Coconut Rum ,,,, no need to mix it with anything, on the rock is sooooooo tasty. Taking home my limit !!!Google Maps has it located in the correct location it lead me right to it. I found the tour to be informative but that is not what I stopped in for. If you are headed through Bigfork or will be anywhere near it is worth the stop.

I stopped in here in August 2013 while driving through Bigfork. A nice little spot located right on the main highway through town. I had a tasting flight of some of their different products and then enjoyed a couple of cocktails. Great drinks and even better is that all of the booze is made on site. The bartender explains the differences in all the different products and how they are made. I even picked up a bottle to bring home. A definite stop any time I'm passing through Bigfork.

The gin is flavored with cucumber and makes for a nice drink to have on the rocks and as a gin and tonic leaving out the citrus. I don't think it is strong enough to stand up to a good vermouth in a martini. This is a TOUGH place to find, we drove by it twice, so be careful. Addresses are not Bigfork's strong point and except for a small sign Andy's is unmarked. I wish I could comment on their other products but I can't. The bar/tasting room is huge and the server we had knows her product line and was very pleasant. Prices were in line with what we expected, not cheap but not expensive. I would pick this place hands down over the other distillery we visited and given a chance would go back again and spend some time.

This distillery is located in bigfork MONTANA just so you know. Stopped their in may for the "tour" and to check the place out. Call me a geek but I like to stop places were stuff is made to buy their gift shop products. to note, not only does tripadviser not know were this place is your GPS may play tricks on you and direct you through bigfork and tell you that this distillery is on a road that runs behind it. In fact the distillery sits on the main highway running along the lake.Place is clean and nice. The main problem is as an atraction. Turns out watching things ferment is not terribly exciting. I was their before the tourist season so maybe they have tours later on, but me and my wife were the only ones in the place.the old rummy behind the bar was cordial if easily confussed, especially when I turned down free liquer(I was driving). He was, however very pleasant and fun to deal with. The most interesting part was doing the "whats legal" liquer math. Know your states liquer laws before you buy. Some states you can bring X amount in, others Y. We were also limited on the amounts we could buy by the state of montan and had to use my alotment and my wifes. then their is bottle size if you want to buy some as gifts..... As I said, liquer math can get confussing! The Vodka and gin have been nice that I bought. One complaint is I bought several bottles of experimental batches they had made and when I got home realized the labels were exactly like the other bottles so now its a bit of roulette when I open one. Like a lot of places they were nice and cordial. Just as an atraction this place was a bit of a let down.
