Staying on the north side of Yellowstone National Park and planning a day of guided fly fishing, but you're not sure about where to go or what to fish (flys)? I would suggest contacting Anglesrs West. They have one of the best teams of guides anywhere to be found. They are both knowledgeable and willing to work hard to make your day a memorable one. I have personally been in a drift boat with several of the guides from this fine shop, and can attest to their professionalism and sincere desire to make your trip a success. While you're at the shop, be sure to chat with the staff, all of whom gan supply you with good information for your day on the water if you decide to go it on your own.The selection of gear is great with a range that should suit everyone's budget. Make a stop Anglers West if you are traveling the Yellowstone Valley. You won't be dissapointed.
We went here first, asked questions, booked a float trip, and it made out stay and our dining and our fishing one hundred percent better. John at Angler's told us where to fish in the area and with what flies and when. Max, our float guide, told us where to fish in Yellowstone, what flies to use, when to go. Max was the most helpful, patient, well-informed guide and he put us on some great fish, and handled our novice fisherman very well. Due to Max and John our fly fishing was out of this world, even after we left the shop, and for days. The lady in the store even told us to go eat at Yellowstone Valley Lodge, and it was one of the best meals we had in the world. We stayed at Chico Hot Springs, but we ate at the much better YVL, with a view of the mountains. And we had no end to great fishing spots to visit and all the right flies to use. All of this is because we stopped at the Angler's West Fly Fishing shop, in Emigrant. And we did it first thing.
