bitterroot rafting adventures

We always have a great time with Dale on the river. He has a super comfortable raft with a padded bench seat in front. He points out wildlife along the way--- and you can tell this guy loves to fish! Dale also serves amazing lunches - elk steaks, salad and home made cheesecake. We even took our 80+ year old friend out last summer and he had an awesome time. I highly recommend Dale of Bitterroot Rafting Adventures for scenic floats, guided fishing trips, and trips with kids.

We floated the west fork of the Bitterroot River with Dale of Bitterroot Rafting Adventures in mid-August and it was a good experience. When we arrived early at the meeting place Dale was already there. After dropping our car at the take out spot, Dale shuttled us up to the launch ramp and we headed out on the river.The river was running a bit low, so it was good to know we were in the skiiled hands of a professional who could navigate any potential hazards on the river. Our float was smooth and relaxing. While Bitterroot Rafting Adventures doesn't officially offer lunch with the trip, Dale shared his lunch with us which included grilled elk that he hunted himself! We learned during the trip that Dale is a skilled outdoorsman, angler and rancher with many other skills. He's also a long time resident of the Bitterroot Valley.All in all, the float was very enjoyable. We didn't see much wildlife, but maybe the wildlife gods just weren't with us that day.
