We went to see the Christmas Carol at the Ellen last night. Oh my, it was so good. It was a musical version and everyone was so talented, the adults, young people and children. The Ellen is an historic theater from the 1800s and had been mostly restored to it's former glory. They show movies, have live plays and live musical entertainment year around. Please check out the Ellen when you are in town, it is beautiful!!!! For Bozemanites who have never been there, please make plans to see a show or movie, you won't be disappointed. Bravo to the Ellen!!!

These older theaters that people take on to renovate are just beautiful and a real joy to see an event. We see music there when they have the jazz or different country groups. The tickets are normally fairly priced and the entertainment is quality

This locally-owned theater is beautiful inside. They have just gone through an extensive renovation and stayed true to the original design. The Ellen offers a variety of programs, each one a delight! Very enthusiastic staff, and always willing to help!

We saw the Black Lillies concert here during our visit to Bozeman. This historic theater is a wonderful venue for performances with excellent acoustics and great seating everywhere. We really enjoyed the balcony seats and appreciate the casual and friendly atmosphere. A great place for adults and families. It is unique in that it has maintained and renovated its original historic charm and stayed true as a performance venue. What a wonderful way to enjoy Bozeman and support the opportunity for quality performances. Enjoy a movie, concert or show there, if you can. Even the concessions were incredibly reasonable in price. It was a pleasure to be part of this experience.
