gritts pumpkin patch

Gritt's Farm is a little out of the way but SO worth the drive. The cheap price of admission ($8 for older kids and adults, free for kids under 3) is a great value. Our 2-year-old LOVED climbing on the hay bale "playground", riding the huge slides on the hill, playing in the corn pit, and petting the baby goats. There were many other much older kids having a great time as well as school groups. We did not get a chance to ride the hay ride, the lawn mower train for tots, or walk through the corn maze (it was very muddy after days of rain), but that all looked just as fun. There was also a pumpkin patch with great photo ops for all ages with the fall colors in the background. No unhappy kids or long lines, even though it was obviously a very popular place! Gritts is pure good old-fashioned home grown fun!!

Too much fun! Great maze and slides plus pick your own pumpkins. Great for small children, teens and adults!

Recently visited Gritt's Farm on a Saturday afternoon. As you approach the entrance you see a field of pumpkins, mums in numerous colors, hay stacks that look like jack'o'lanterns and monster spiders and pumpkins galore. The grandchildren had so much fun on the numerous slidesand the corn kernel pit. The corn maze was fun for the adults, as well. Money well spent for a fun afternoon in the country.
