j & m's used bookstore

We love used book stores for spending an hour or more meandering around looking at books that are significantly less in cost than in the real book stores and about the same as Amazon used books without the mailing time wait. This store has a little of everything which is how we spent over an hour and came away with at least 10 books. The owners are a lovely young couple and the store is new enough that it appears clean and organized to make looking for the right read a snap. There isn't a lot to do in Parkersburg and this was a lovely way to spend some time. Great kids book section too (though we shopped biography and fiction sections). If you like used book stores, do go to this one. You won't be sorry.
