Burning Rock riding Park is a great place to ride. I have rode dirt bikes all my life starting at the age of twelve and still going at the age of sixty two. A friend of mine from Virginia rode this park last spring and talked me into going in December. We bought the yearly pass, which I thought was expensive ($50) at the time, but after riding the trail system, I thought it was worth every penny of it. The trails are well maintained and somewhat challenging. They had a lot of rain before we arrived that made it very slick at 28 degrees. But we had a blast, and we can't wait to go back and try the zip line.

I discovered Burning Rock last year while riding my SxS and it has become my favorite destination for camping and riding. The people are great, the camp sites are level and clean, and the riding is top notch! See you folks in the spring unless I try and squeeze in one more winter camping trip!

We had an absolute Blast on the half day guided tour. Kids are 17 and 19 years old. They are asking to make this a annual event. We have traveled a lot of places over the years. This was probably the best family time we've ever experienced. The staff was great. Matt (our guide) was very helpful. I cannot say enough good this about our experience. If you have teenagers and wanting to spend some quality time together, look not further.

Stayed in the Glamp site for 3 nights, very cool. Rented dirt bikes for myself and 12 year old son. Dirt bikes are very nice. Some of the trails were a bit challenging for him, but after a while he was riding with no problems. Will plan on coming back.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. Excellent customer service, friendly, and seemed to really want us to enjoy our vacation. Not one of the employees here acted like we were putting them out with any requests or needs or questions. We rented the RZR for just a few days and had a blast. We were so unprepared for what we needed to bring they even gave us a dry bag to keep our belongings out of the mud and rain. The trails are perfectly described (green = easy, blue = moderate, black = difficult), the weeds are briars are trimmed back so well that I was only snagged in the face once. The only had thing we can say about this place is they are too far away to go regularly! There were areas the trails were not marked at all or just confusing, so I would put some thought into that, but for go getters and self starters, this was definitely the perfect place to be for a few days. Friendly staff, great machines, great pricing, great views. Loved it!

Burning Rock Outdoor Adventure Park is a great family place with ATV and Dirt Bike Trails for all ages and skills. They offer a good variety of lodging opportunities with rental cabins, RV hookups, tent camping sites and more. It is also great that they offer ATV and Dirt bike rentals for those who want the experience but lack the vehicle.

Our kids love 4-wheeling but all of their experience is in the flat lands Indiana and Michigan. We wanted to introduce them to hills without throwing them head-first on to the Hatfield-McCoy trails. Burning Rock was the perfect place for novice hill riders. We went to Burning Rock over Labor Day weekend. We did not get in until after 9:00pm but found our way out to Burning Rock with no problems - directions were extremely easy. We stayed in the rustic cabins on site. Even though we arrived late, we had called ahead for access code to the cabin. Cabins were clean and comfortable and quite suitable for the intended purpose. There was ample room next to the cabin to park a 20' hauler in the dark with no problems.Made reservations for a full day white water rafting trip through the people at Burning Rock. Went white water rafting and then came back in time for evening zip line rides at Burning Rock. Had an awesome time!Spent the entire next day riding. Started on the Major Tams trail, had lunch back at the cabin and continued with green trails for the remainder of the day. Started with sunshine but had several bouts of rain throughout the day. Not a big deal. When the kids got thoroughly soaked, we headed back to the cabin, dried off, changed clothes and then went back out again once the rain stopped. The kids especially enjoyed the church in the woods, the old coal mine entrance, and the scenic overlooks.I would recommend at least two days of riding in order to get the full experience of Burning Rock. They have just opened up a new section northeast of the campground and we didn't get a chance to get near that area.Even with a band playing on Saturday night for the holiday weekend, all noisy activities were over by 9:30ish - GREAT feature with tired kids.I would highly recommend Burning Rock for anyone wanting a family ATV adventure. The facilities, trails and accommodations are all top notch.

We have been there twice, most recently July 3,2013.John and Chelsea....you both did a fantastic job of making us feel at ease and sharing the best places on the trails.....hats off to you both, you made the trip much more enjoyable. We rented a polaris ranger from them, it was in excellent condition and performed flawlessly. Pricing was extremely reasonable, and included all we needed (trail passes as well!)The trails there are excellent....lots of variety, and lots of neat things to see. In addition, they are consistently adding trails to keep variety. Keep it up guys...you are doing everything right! One of the great things about Burning Rock is that the trails are marked better than anywhere we have trail ridden....and we have been to many places. It is awesome riding the trails all day with family and easily finding your way around all the trails (and there are MANY there!!)All in all, it is our opinion that this is the best place to ATV in the Midwest US. And PS....the campground is nice too....stayed there both times in our RV, easy access in and out with a large motorhome. We will likely be back every year!
