Bryan and Ali are great hosts and possess a great deal of knowledge about wine making. Make sure you schedule a tasting and be sure to ask about barrel tasting. The latest red wine, The Wooden Beam, is incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a big, full-bodied Cabernet Savignon. The addition of Tempranillo and Petit Verdot make the wine even more special and unique. This is a small winery with big wines and not to be missed if you are in the area. We were able to sample two barrel tastings and both wines are sure to be fantatstic. As the previous reviewer said, make sure you buy a case since these wines sell out fast.

Vu Ja De Vineyard is full of beauty: beautiful land, beautiful people, beautiful wine. Bryan and Ali are wonderful and knowledgeable hosts who can teach you about sustainable viticulture and tantalize your tastebuds with their wines. Bryan is a really interesting guy, if you have the chance to visit the vineyard be sure to chat him up about the history of the Vu Ja De; he's put so much work and passion into the place and it really shines through in the wine. Tips: -Tours and tastings are by appointment only, so if you know you're going to be in the area, call ahead as early as possible to make sure you have chance to visit. - Vu ja de wines can be hard to find, especially if you're from out of state, so stock up while you're there! Our current favorite is their Ciao Bella sierra foothills red. We only got a couple of bottles and now regret not getting a case when we had the chance.
