Located right across from downtown Wheeling's Center Market. The owners are both science teachers & very enthusiastic. Cool science items, books, & dinosaur stuff to see plus a snack bar.

While in Wheeling on vacation recently I took my kids, along with my sister-in-law and her two children, to the Smart Center. The kids ranged in age from 4-11 and each one of them had a blast exploring all the cool science related stuff. The variety of ice-cream they offer was a great way to top off the fun. They are begging us to take them back on our next visit to Wheeling.

An old friend runs it, so I'm less than completely objective, but it's a great store with some really cool science-related stuff. They love kids and do a lot of fun classes.

Tucked away in the "Center Market" area of downtown Wheeling this amazing place is at first glance a store containing lots of science kits and Ice Cream! The staff not only offer a wide range of products (mostly for kids) but put on science events as well. They run evening telescope programs and do special science activities at schools.
