great place for a weekly outing. While there is not a huge selection there is enough and high quality goods. You can get anything from flowers to bison. The kids enjoy the music. The wife likes the demonstrations. My family likes to get sandwiches from the wine and cheese shop and then have a picnick afterwords. Highly recommend attending.

We were totally blown away by the variety of offerings at Williamsburg's Farmers' Market. You come expecting frsh veggies, of course. Then you find the baked goods - not just cookies, but breads, ethnic foods, pies and cakes. Move on to proteins like beef and fish. Fresh fruits, plants, greens for decorating at the holidays. It's all here. Plus there's free parking till noon in one of the parking lots or on nearby streets. This is a treasure!

If you are into farmers market this is a must see. I was there for a weekend and took along my cooler in hopes I would find good produce. Not only was the produce fabulous, I found cheeses, pastries, breads, pies. There are a few vendors that serve food and drinks also. Loved this farmers market and will be going back again. Oh and if you go, don't forget to take your cooler! ;)

The Williamsburg Farmers Market is one of the best farmers markets in the area! You will find a plentiful and evolving selection of produce, meats, baked goods, and dairy products as well as few non-edible treats like soaps and perfumes. There are enough delicious options available that it is very easy to make a whole meal (or several) from just the supplies you find there! It also has a great atmosphere that is welcoming for couples, families, and even dogs! Tucked cozily in to Merchant Square and conveniently next to Colonial Williamsburg, the farmers market is the perfect place to start an exciting Saturday!

We went to the first market of the season to finds an excellent selection of tables and tents. There were plenty of people selling plants, bakery and bread items, organic meats, and other locally grown/made items. The live music and Chef's Table topped it off as a great Saturday morning to do.Most certainly our new weekly tradition. Oh yeah, everyone brings there dog, so get ready to see the variety of pets...
