We spent spring break at Snowshoe and the weather was cold and rainy during much of our visit. The Big Top was a godsend as it gave us something that my daughter enjoyed doing while being warm and dry. Love the climbing wall and trampoline bounce! She and I also enjoyed playing pool, cornhole and foosball together.
We did not know this was an amenity with our room, but we had a blast at the Big Top! The kids bungee jumped, ran through an obstacle course, and all kinds of games, while their dad and I had a beer at the end of the game. It was a fun treat after the slopes closed at 4:30!
This place was included for our family because we reserved through Snowshoe reservations. Our kids (age 13 and 10) enjoyed running around the inflatables, playing with the Wii, rock climbing, and the euro bungee for about 90 minutes before they had their fill and wanted to leave. Video game machines were not of much interest to them-boys proclaimed them to be not very exciting and not worth paying extra for. We only tried the Big Top because it was included but would not pay extra for the experience otherwise.
Each year this wonderful big space gets worse. I would estimate 80% or more of the items in this kids attraction doesn't work or is so dirty you would not want your kids on it.. Ok, so if you don't mind the dirt, it most likely doesn't work. And if your there for the "Movie" the Picture and inaudible sound lacks a lot to be desired. It would be better if they would just covert this to a ice rink / roller rink that can be enjoyed year round.. terrible waste of space.
The climbing wall, the euro bungee is a blasts for the kids. We really enjoy the activities here and the movie nights are an awesome idea.
Bungee trampoline, pugil stick fights, huge bouncy slide, video games, and cheap beer. The Big Top worked out great for my 4yr old when he was done skiing. Free to families staying at the resort. Staff was great.
This is s fun place to go if you have little kids, but it's a bit pricey and in my opinion, cheesy. It s good for one night to keep the kids entertained, but ONE night only. It can be fun, and the, mechanical bull and bungee jumping give you a thrill.
Two inflatables only there and the area it's seats within is plane nasty. The resort should be ashamed to let it get this worn down when so much of the rest fifth resort is so new and updated. The kids will like it - but with only two to choose from it will get boring quick.
this place is big and seats plenty, saw deja vu one night great band and area 51 another night, soso, beer and drinks expensive, wings are very expensive as is all snacks here. wings are a rip off!!
Lots of inflatables for kids to climb on, eurobungy, rock wall, pool tables, video games, just a break fromthe skiing.Wish this place would open in the summertime for those rainy afternoons!
Great place for kids 11 and under. Older kids would be bored. Think big warehouse type looking building with rock climbing, bungee jumping, inflatable bouncing and some games. Staff was friendly but slow. Kids had a blast. There is Shavers bar down the hall so the older kids watched the younger kids and we checked on them every 20min or so.
We couldn;t fininsh our pool game because we were kicked out at 6 miniutes before 9. Posted hours were 9pm closing!
We had to go to the "Big Top" because they canceled our snow cat tour saying that it had just run down before we got there. The big top hardly has much inside its just a overly priced place to take your child if they are to young to do anything else Snow shoe has to offer or your bored and want something to keep the kids busy for 30ins.The clerk at the big top was bored and there was hardly anyone there. She was nice enough to allow my child to go on the blow up slide as much as she wanted to but.......I had to pay 6.00 dollers and sign a paper saying I would not sue if my child got hurt on their equipment.Really if its busy your expected to pay 6.00 dollers and only be allowed to play 10 mins on each thing. The have just a few things to hold a childs interest but its not really worth the high costs !Its was 4.00 or more dollers just for a plain hot dog which my child had wanted but I refused to pay such a hig price for a hotdog that looked like it had been around for awhile.Overall ........If you want something to do with your kids and your willing to pay a high cost for it and sign a paper you won't sue each time ...Have a good time then!
The worst! I ordered a hot dog for my picky son and they actually deep fried it!!! It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw.
