Got a comp for buffet. Wouldn't pay full price ever. Food not really hot, but tasty. Not a huge selection in my opinion. The casino is dark and smoky. Will go back but not make it a priority.

valet broke our shift in car and boontown want fix it and mark guy offers us a drink ..get real we didn't ask for a moron to break the car just park it..please rethink valet service there so its lawyer time in order to get it fixed

I was pleasantly surprised by the service there. The rooms were clean and the staff was very courteous. Enjoyed the buffet. Would come back again and enjoy it more.

Boomtown is a good place to visit yet I didn't find it as friendly as Diamond Jack's Casino and Resort.

1st of all I enjoy going to this casino, but the workers are very rude and unprofessional. When walk on you don't get greeted, the staff just click you in and keep talking to each other. Don't expect to get a drink unless you playing table games. I am very observant of my surrounding and how I'm treated when I'm spending my money. we sat there am just waited to see when we would be offered a drink. the waitress pass us several times and didn't say a word. finally, I stop her and gave her a tip 1st thinking that might help. Boy was I wrong, I actually had to go to the bar and ask her for my drink. Now that's sad. Now don't get me wrong, there is ONE pretty young lady that I've met name Angel I believe, that keep my drinks coming and I tip her well. But, you never know when she's there. There's one other thing I must say, one night I had a problem with the service and I asked for the floor manager, not knowing that it was him and he lied in my face and said, i'll get him for you and never acknowledge my concern nor did he return. My husband said, that was him you were talking to and he lied in your face. That's a shame. So I asked several other workers to call him and no one would. I should've called the head man the next day. One Security guy said that was him just passed, the ball headed guy. I said I just asked him ad he said he would go and get him. Well that let me know how he felt about my concern. I think that management should check into the workers here because they have gotten too comfortable with their job and don't even care about the guest.Another thing, the bathrooms on the casino floor are filthy. The one at the parking entrance is very clean. If you hungry you better eat before you get there cause the buffet food is not worth eating. I can gladly say that I've found a boat that have the type of machines that I played there and I can get a drink when I want one. So, now I don't have to deal with this boat any more. Good luck to all that go here. If you like to drink you better have a stiff one before you get there.

I have to say we use to play at all the casinos but Boomtown was the least we played at We stopped playing at all of them and have not played for about 4 years or so In all that time the others all fell by the wayside with offers to come back in fact it was a short time they quit sending Boomtown kept sending offers for rooms and meals and free play vouchers All that time and they never stopped .I will say they did not come every month but 3 or 4 times a year we got an offer We started going back this year and made a trip down on the 29th and 30 th of Nov 2014 They had sent us a room for a free two night stay I have to say we had a great time We walk in and the room is a big with a Jacuzzi in the room and a nice shower in the bathroom A King sized bed big TV fridge and free wifi We went down to the casino and played for some time . The wife and I started playing about 8:00 P.M. and played to around midnight she had a rather large win and went to the room about midnight .I stayed and played till about 2:00 A.M I had some small hits but not anything compared to hers although I did see a lot of 7 and 800 dollar hits some hits for 2 to 300 on a 75 cent bet The machines were very friendly for the most part The people bringing drinks seem to be more friendly and faster than in the past I have to say we came home with more than 900.00 than we took and played You throw in the great room and 4 free meals and free drinks it can't get much better I think if you are going to the area do give them more than a look I really feel this casino is way ahead of the others in the area when it comes to loyalty to the guest I would give them a four circle rating anyway and with the loyalty they showed over the years of not going bumped it up

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel, just wasn't impressed with the slots, didn't win a dime! But hey, that's part of gambling and I still had a lot of fun.

Casino caters mostly to penny slot players having taken a lot of dollar slots out on main floor. What is left are tight and not a good selection. If you like damn pennies then you are in luck here.

If you are looking to have a good time while winning then this is one of the casinos that you should visit while in Bossier City. The customer service is quick and very friendly. The waitresses here are very friendy and helpful. The dealers are also wonderful.

Didn't care for this place. Nothing but what I call "cartoon machines"! I like the old reel type machines myself.

Ghetto-like experience. My wife and I won't return. It was run down and did not have the crowd we wanted to hang around. We played a while but had no luck on the $1 and $5 slots. We did receive a comp offer in the mail the following month. We could return for the grand prize of.... Tupperware. Uhhhh, no thanks. I'll stick with the Horseshoe Casino and the great comps that keep us returning there.

We did not feel as comfortable at Boomtown as the others in the area. They do not give new players any bonus money to start playing with.

After staying two previous nights at the Holiday Inn Express-Tyler (loop 323)....Boomtown was definitely first class!!! The moment you enter your room it's big and clean!!! The beds and linens are top notch!! Loved the cold room temperature too!!! Excellent what more can I say!!! Five *****!!!!!!

What wasn't wrong?! Maybe 2 of the staff were pleasant and the rest acted as if we were a waste of time. The room.... 1 the remote did not work right. Could not turn the volume up or down, had to press the button a certain way to change the channel. The pillows were flat and only had 3 on a king size bed. The coffee was not worth your time and for the price we paid for our room Wednesday - Friday there should be complementary coffee in the lobby. The only thing I enjoyed at Boomtown was the bar by the front door and the jacuzzi tub in our room!

We stayed here because our first 3 choices were booked. We got a jacuzzi tub room, which was pretty decent but basic. The staff was not too friendly, housekeeping was completely put out when I asked for clean towels and condiments (we stayed 2 nights so they didn't have to clean our room). Not much luck at blackjack either, they use 8 decks and dealer kept getting 21.
