Loved the place. Feeding the goats was a hit. Watching them feed the gators was a treat also. The snack shop has fried gator which was delish!
We had so much fun here! I took my husband to New Orleans for his birthday weekend, and on our way from Texas we stopped off here for a few hours. We really enjoyed the gator feeding and my husband got to hold a baby gator. They have miniature horses and pigs that the kids (and kids at heart) can pet. If you're hungry, stop in their restaurant and try the gator.
Went here with my family of 5 plus two more. Very expensive to get this large group in but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Tons of gators to look at in different settings and the feeding show was really neat. Overall a great experience that we would recommend to anyone.
My son and I loved going here. They even take pictures of the child or family holding a baby alligator. I cherish that picture. Very fun, my son didn't want to leave at closing time...and we had been there all day. There is even a beautiful peacock wandering the grounds.
Even my older teenagers liked this place, especially the alligator feeding show. Some of the information provided about the snakes was incorrect, but overall, we had a good time!
Alligator Park was wonderful, took awesome pictures of the alligators being fed and also tried some alligator meat which by the way was good. The lady who was feeding the alligators loved her job and it showed, she even talked to us about the alligators and when the next feeding would be.
Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Loved seeing the gators in a natural habitat setting. Feeding the gators was an awesome experience. It costs to hold a baby gator but worth the $8.
i been going here since i was young and ive always loved this place. its a great experience and enjoyable
The alligator park was lots of fun. Lots of gators and other small animals to see and feed. Would definitely go back.
Years ago, we visited the Alligator Park and the kids had a blast seeing the gators and watching the show. We went this year and the park has obviously grown and expanded but this is not necessarily progress.First, it is very expensive to visit the Alligator park, $6.95 for kids under 12 and $8.95 for ages 12 and up. All this buys is entry to the park, access to the show and an opportunity to feed a few animals. The show wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. Now it is a pre-recorded show that plays over the intercom system. The kids no longer paid attention to any of the cool facts or stories and because they were talking rather than listening to it, I really couldn't hear it like I wanted to. The man feeding the Alligators did his task without any showmanship or even a "howdy". We bought feed for the animals 6 little bags for $5 and that kept the kids happy for a bit. The price seemed fair. They have several free photo ops around the park and that was nice. We entered the restaurant area and were greeted by a friendly lady who helped us with our order. She has obviously dealt with hungry kids and moms on a budget before. We bought two "gator bites and french fries" plates and the kids ate them all. However, I thought the fries had been under the heat lamp too long and had an old taste that fries often get. This costed $15 which was expensive for the food portions, in my opinion. We had to enter and exit through a gift shop (well played, Alligator Park owners) and thought for the most part, souvenir prices are far more reasonable than park entry prices. Example: Postcards were only 30 cents each. Would I visit the park again? I am not sure but I doubt it, the show is no longer a "SHOW", making this not worth the money it used to be.
We had a great time at the Alligator park even though we were sweating really bad but they had a gator cafe and souvenir shop that had ac and also you could get huge snow cones that hit the spot. So many gators to see plus other animals and birds too. We bought food to feed all the animals which they enjoyed. The show was great and cool to see all the gators to fight over the chicken.
This small animal park had plenty of gators and other animals to see. It's good for families with small children. You can feed most of the animals.
Three bus loads of pre-teen kids arrived at the same time we did and we thought--Hmmm??? But we went in anyway and it really enhanced the visit. Seeing how much fun the kids were having made our visit all the better. We bought several bags of 'Gator feed and gave it out to the kids. It was almost like Christmas again. FUN..!!!The place is fun and educational. We were there about 4 hours and enjoyed it all. The diner is OK and the gift shop has unique stuff, but pricey.
Just average stop during a road trip. Lots of gators to see. A great number of different animals to see. There was a gator feeding, but other than that, you walk around the park on your own. We purchased bags of food for feeding the different animals, which was fun.
Yes they have lots of alligators. The park was best severed by local school field trips. We went during the week and once the field trips left, there were no more shows.
