This is a little gem in the small town of Athens. The cinema is always clean and the prices are a lot cheaper than the large-big city ones!

This is a very nice and clean/safe place to see a movie......warm friendly folks working there and the selection of movies are current and the seating and sound is up with the other top end places!

I visit this establishment often since it is the closest to my home. It is very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating if you need anything. New releases are shown here. The ticket prices are cheaper than some larger chains. I can't recall ever having a bad experience here of any sort. A very cool feature is the drive in. Drive In's are great for making family memories.

Saw Maleficent in 3D. Sound and picture quality were great. Seats were comfortable, and prices on concessions were about normal for movie theaters if not cheaper.

Our family has worked at making a lot of great memories for our children and top among them is a trip to the Drive-In Movies. The closest one to our current home in Madison AL is the Cinemagic Theatre in Athens AL which is unique in that it's connected to a traditional indoor movie theater. Last night we showed up just before the gate opened at 8 pm and paid a fellow standing outside as we pull in back of the regular theater and into the lot of the drive-in. Audio is through your car stereo instead of theater speakers but the big screen was big, bright and beautiful. Its a good idea to bring paper towels and Windex to clean the dead bugs off your windshield before it starts. All the same drinks and snacks are available through the window into the concessions stand, I paid a little under $7 for a giant tub of popcorn that comes with 1 free refill. Admittance to see the film was on $6 for me and $4 for my daughter. It's not the biggest or the best drive-in I've been to but it's the only one around so I'll definitely be returning. This is a must-do for all locals as well as any travelers who've never been to a drive-in before.
