Part of the Covered Bridge Tour in Alabama , there are 12. We saw 4 . This was the prettiest. Defiantly see all 3 in the oneonta area. We missed this turnoff, and backtracked from Easly bridge to see it. Nice trails , but we didn't walk too far this trip, but pan to explore them another time.

One of three covered bridges in Blount County, and what I've been told is the longest in Alabama, this bridge is properly maintained without compromising the authenticity. This particular bridge offers and amazing view of the river and bluff. Take a moment to walk down the trail beside the water. Rocks can be a little tricky but so worth it to get a full view of all the surroundings.

If you have a love of covered bridges this is one to see. The area is beautiful and to drive across it was amazing. It's just a shame that people don't have more respect, when you cross over the bridge and pull off so you can take a picture there is so much trash just laying around.
