Do not waste your time going to this place! It's old, dirty, and all the people sell is used old junk, which I wouldn't even take for free! I honestly don't know how most of the people actually think they can sell their junk! When we first moved to the area in 2013 we visited the flea market and thought the same thing. We hadn't gone in over a year, so we thought we'd give it another try.. Nope...nothing changed. Needless to say, it will be the last time that we go there! Yuck!!
For a small town flea market it's a good size. A lot of older items, but what do you expect? It's kind of dark in some spots, but there's a place to eat and lots to see.
After reading the other reviews I felt the need to defend this flea market. There is a good selection of vendors, bathrooms, places to eat, plenty of parking and safety. I'm no expert on flea markets so maybe I'm not qualified to write a review but I'm considering going back. It is what it is. It's not exactly a tourist destination but it's something to do.
Just wanted to share how great the vendors were to my son. My son visited with his grand-mother on Saturday and woke up Sunday morning begging to go back to the flea market. He only had five dollars and what he wanted was $15. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but the vendor told my son that he would make him a deal for $5 so my son could have the entire set. I just wanted to say thanks and I'm tell all my friends and family about how wonderful a place The Limestone Flea Market is to visit.
They need more vendors with new stuff. Not old old stuff. It's ok. Not impress at all. I have been to better flea markets. Too much old stuff. Need more vendors with GOOD STUFF.
I knew they had hundreds of vendors under one roof and had great eats. The new management if friendly and is working hard to better the Market each week. Last weekend there was a blood drive. Many people showed and I didn't find a negative thing to say about the vendors or there prices. The vendors I encountered had reasonable prices on the items I looked at and were friendly. The food at the grill is awesome and the brownies at Sugar Buzz was soooo good.
I SHOULD have paid closer attention to the other reviews. I would not waste my time here again. It is just a bunch of junk (really) and crap from china. I expected at least some "antiques" and such, but REALLY just a bunch of crap.
Tons of items that are foreign made, cheap made, and way over priced. Knocks and not good one!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
I enjoy going to flea markets and this was a very good one. Its a very large and diverse place with many oddities. When I went there weren't any food vendors open however, which was a little disappointing because I was really hungry. The diversity of vendors really made up for that though. I was planning on a quick trip of about thirty minutes just to see what this flea market was like, but I ended up getting so interested in the place that I stayed for a little more than 2 hours! Great place to stop in, but be prepared to get caught up and spend the whole day!
It had been a while since visiting the Limestone County Flea Market, so we decided to take a ride over and see what treasures we could find. There are a lot of different items available at the flea market, including antiques and collectables, but all in all, I found the trip to be less than inspiring. Many of the items were simply cheap knock offs of something else (electronic gadgets and NFL hats/shirts in particular). There was very little that was actually interesting. Even the collectables that were interesting were poorly displayed and in my opinion a bit overpriced. As far as food offerings went, most of the vendors were closed and the one we did stop at wasn’t memorable. I can’t imagine trekking back out this way just for the flea market. What a shame, too, because I love bargain & treasure hunting.
