Drove 6 1/2 hours to attend a race weekend February 26 thru 28th. When we got there we went to track first to ensure we could find it easliy . No race cars and nobody on site. Went to motel in Columbus, Ga and used laptop to check their website. Nothing there. Googled Bama Bash canceled. Found a website in Tennessee that said race moved a week and purse cut by more then half late at night on 26th. If you have rooms reserved you must cancel 1 to two days prior to arrival. Sent the speedway a note saying thatnks for nothing and they are not even courteous to respond. Will not go back as they do not seem to care about the Fans.

This is the best race track in the south. best racing I've seen and I've seen a lot of dirt track races. just with for state.

It's pretty exciting to see some good ol' redneck activity. Pretty entertaining to see the occasional baby mama drama.

Though not a racing fan per se, your humble reviewer did spend a portion of his young adulthood living next to a dirt circle track. The sound of roaring engines and the brown dust sticking to everything and anything are still etched in my mind. With this place in the backyard, I could easily become a fan. It's hot, loud, dusty, and um, rustic. But it's as cheap a night out as you're ever gonna get, and little boys of every age love engine noise and seeing stuff get sideways on dirt. Keep an eye on their website- They sometimes have specials and all manner of promotions.

What a wonderful organization. All employees friendly and helpful. They so have this down to perfection
