This is an amazing museum in an surprising place--a business headquarters building in a small town. The museum collection is extraordinary of Amercan portraits and landscapes. The museum is in a beautiful building in a great setting. The curator was very helpful.

Tuscaloosa Museum of Art is tucked away in the offices of Westervelt Company on Jack Warner Parkway. The office building and the surrounding landscaping is well worth a visit itself. Once you enter the Art Museum, you will be warmly greeted by Kathy and/or William and will find an amazing collection of American paintings, sculpture, and furniture. There is no charge for visiting.
