pink pony pub - world famous beach bar

Walked here from the Best Western for the All you can eat shrimp on Thursday night. Great food and service. Recommend getting there at 5:00 or you'll be waiting for a table.

Walked here from our hotel on the beach. On a Monday nite, not very busy. However our waiter Joe was entertaining, friendly and helpful. Tried the shrimp appetizer, and they were good, but next time will ask to have the heads removed before we got them. Husband had shrimp po boy and loved it. I had the grilled shrimp and they were the best I've ever had. Drinks were great too, as was the Key lime pie! Will recommend and definitely go again!!

They have endless shrimp every Tuesday & Thursday; served with fries, coleslaw, and your choice of either fried, steamed, blackened, or boiled. The grilled shrimp was my favorite!! Highly recommend this little place on the beach, superb service, good atmosphere, and great prices! Don't let the name fool you! & be sure to ask for Joe, he's a great waiter!

This has become a regular spot for a late dinner and a few beers on trips to Gulf Shores. I much prefer the Pink Pony to the larger, more tourist-inhabited establishment next door (I'm not going to name it, but you know where I'm talking about if you've been there).The bartenders and servers are always incredibly friendly and helpful at the Pink Pony. If you happen to be there on a karaoke night, some of the entertainment can be quite amusing as well.

We came for dinner and had shrimp and a burger, both were great! We would come back and probably hang out longer!

It can be Devo or any other genre at the Pink Pony pub. Security rocks but some friends suck. We witnessed a woman who was incoherently inebriated and a creeper fondle her from across the bar when he though no one was watching. We stepped in, spoke with security who quickly kicked him out and got her and her so called friend a cab. Other than that we had an excellent time and the Karoake DJ was the bombdiggidy.... We sang some country, rock and baby got back.... it was fun and the night ended to soon...

Visited twice over a few days. Once for lunch which was nice & the food was great. Our server Stephanie was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly. Went back at night to see what the nightlife was like & it was great! Very fun crowd & ate great drink prices.
