Spent the day drifting the Kenai River. This company was very efficient and helpful in setting up the reservation and running the trip. I was by myself so they put me in a boat with two other fisherman. Boat and guide were able to handle 3 fisherman well. Very productive day catching large rainbows and dolly vardin. Guide was very good and worked hard.

A fantastic adventure. I have fished with them on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. I took 3 guests with me, all we first timers to the upper Kenai. All were first timers using a fly pole. Dusty, our guide, was outstanding, both with her professional guiding as well as her patience. Trout Fitters outfits you with first class equipment, including waders and boots. (Simms gear) Truly worth every penny. Consider staying with them a night or two. You'll love hanging out in Cooper Landing.

The experience I had with ATF was amazing! Top of the line rods and fishing equipment, the guides have great personalities and the surrounding area on the Kenai River is beautiful. I learned that the owners have been fishing the river for a long time, which resulted in the guides putting us on a lot of fish and they know the river in and out. Alaska Trout Fitters not only provided the fishing experience of a life time, but amazing lodging accommodations as well! We stayed in a great cabin they have right on the river with a kitchen, outdoor seating/ fire pit, and daily housekeeping. I'm definitely going to be fishing the Kenai River again and it'll be with Alaska Trout Fitters!

My husband and I just returned from our third trip of a lifetime in Alaska! We did a drift trip on the Kenai with Alaska Trout Fitters! We were trout fishing and Dusty was our guide. It was a very rewarding trip we caught several nice rainbows and dollies. Dusty was fun to fish with, very attentive, provided instruction when needed but let us fish and enjoy ourselves. They provided first class equipment on the trip. We are already planning our trip and our first call will be to Alaska Trout Fitters.

We went on an 8 hr trip with George. My husband and I were not very good a casting (we are bass fishers), but George tried his hardest and we finally we able to do pretty fair. We were a little too early for the sockeye run so we mostly fished trout. Both types of fishing are quite a bit of work, so I eventually sat out a bit at the end, but it was the good kind of sore arm. I managed to get one trout on the boat and George was great at letting me get a picture with the fish before releasing it.

We just returned from our half day walk on trout fishing trip with our guide Pat. My husband and I have never fly fished. We got a great casting lesson. Caught four rainbow trout, two Dolly Varden, and a few accidental salmon. We saw bald eagle and other birds. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and took us on a nice journey through the river. We were spotting big rainbows and giving it our all. Perfect day on the river. Our rented gear was in perfect shape down to the waiters. Thank you Pat.

We booked our Alaskan trip of a lifetime and finished it up with Salmon fishing on the Kenai River with a recommendation to use Trout fitters. We were 4 girls with three having fishing experience. We booked a half day trip, so we could make our flight home. Jason was our guide, he said it was his first year guiding, and although he was personable, he smoked and texted non-stop in and out of the boat. It took us well over an hour to get to a fishing spot. We kept wondering why this was taking so long, it would have been nice to have some insight into where we were going, how long it would take, etc... We fished for 1.5 hours, Jason gave some instruction, took a few pictures for us and spent the rest of the time smoking and texting on shore. If we caught a fish he would help, but we felt really jipped out of our overall experience. I would not recommend a half day trip and definitely recommend getting a different guide than Jason.

We had George as our guide for an 8 hour trip, he was very patient with the 13 and 15 year old boys. He taught them how to fly fish, he knew where to find the fish and was very entertaining.We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, bears and eagles.I would highly recommend Alaska Trout Fitters, very professional and good value for what they deliver.
