I am a 34 year resident of Alaska who took this trip because we had out of state company in town. I am so glad I did! I have never caught fish like that before. Mike (our guide) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He kept us on fish from start to finish, and even gave my out of state friend tips for fishing his home area. All in all I couldn't recommend Kenai River Fly Fishing more strongly!

My husband and I with our 2 year old daughter spent a day fishing with KRFF and it was fabulous! What a beautiful trip down the river! As life long Alaskans we weren't sure what to expect having a guide take us out. Well it was definitely worth it! The guides know what to use, and where to fish, so you can just focus on having a good time. Our daughter had a great time, and so did we. I especially appreciate how accommodating our guide was with our daughter. Definitely a trip we will take again!

KRFF was instrumental in making our trip to Cooper Landing an amazing one. Mike and Jen were awesome, from getting the details figured out to get us out on the water, too putting us in some of the most beautiful world class fly fishing. It was the greatest fly fishing and river experience we have had.

I have used this guide service for years, often with friends who have no experience drift boat fishing, as I want them to learn the right way.The boat and gear were top notch.The day began with a meaningful safety briefing. Dry fly, swinging a wet fly, and bead fishing were taught during the day. Sheep were pointed out on one side of the river, and goats on the other. We learned about the river, and we walked away with skills that we can apply fishing other waters.This is my favorite river, and you cannot do better than having Mike Harp as your guide. He is a true professional.
