Trip of a lifetime! I highly recommend the 6 mile rafting trip to anyone whose looking for an adrenaline rush. The guides were very professional and made us all feel safe and comfortable. Definitely the best whitewater rafting experience of my life. Fun, fun, fun!! Can't wait to do it again!

Had a great day rafting with these guys. Oh my goodness so much fun, very exhilarating. Guides were great. Cherry on top was the hot tub that awaited us at the end of the trip.

We had a great rafting trip but the water was cold!!! The guides were a little crude but well trained.

I have to admit that I was a little nervous about going rafting on a river known for its potential for danger, but this group was so safety conscious, it put my mind at ease. I was so impressed with how well they prepared us for our journey and they did a great job interacting with our 12 yo daughter to make sure she understood the risks, and how to respond to various circumstances should they arise. I felt confident in our guides and was impressed with their skill and love of the work.This trip is not for the faint of heart, but it is worth every penny for the thrill and joy of riding class 4 and 5 rapids with this fun, funny, and safety conscious crew! I highly recommend Chugach Outdoor Center.

Beautiful drive to Hope Alaska from Anchorage. Great choice to be active, see amazing sights and appreciate getting away from it all. Listen to your guide and you will have an exhilarating experience. Remember to bring a change of socks. We stopped at Alyeska for dinner afterwards. Saw children as young as 14 and athletic couples in their 70s with our group smiling and loving it. Pretty sure all would do it again and recommend it. The staff is impressive from the person who answers the phone to the guides. Safety is obviously important and the guides are great at keeping you safe but entertained.

I had a great day on sixmile creek with a guide named John and a really funny safety guy named Mudflap. I was scared for most of the trip but always felt safe. These guys seem to know this creek very well and did a very good job teaching everybody how to paddle. Even when I fell out of the boat it was no problem, the guide told me exactly what to do and got me back in the boat safely. And at the end of the trip , there is a hot tub to warm up in ! I can't wait to do it again.

This operation is TIGHT! My partner and I went rafting Six Mile with the river running 10' 1" The water was fast and we got agressive, and C. O. C. kept us in perfect condition all the way through the three canyons.

Whitewater Rafting with this company and at this location was fabulous! I would greatly recommend it for everyone who is looking for great outdoor attraction!

If you are wavering on whether or not to do this, do it. This was a fantastic experience that I did in early August. The staff was all professional and very concerned about the safety of guests. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Words do not describe the thrills of Six Mile Creek's beautiful canyons. The staff is great, very safety conscious and fun. My favourite day in Alaska!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed an awesome experience rafting down six mile creek. The staff was extremely friendly and safety conscious--which made me feel much more comfortable given my initial nervousness. Before the trip starts we did a practice swim in the water, and before each rapid we reviewed a safety plan. The rapids were exciting, the company was fun, and overall we enjoyed lots of laughs and an awesome time. Recommended for anyone looking for an adventure! We left energized, with huge smiles on our faces, and lots of great memories.

My husband and I enjoyed ten great days in Alaska traveling from Denali to Seward to Homer, etc. But this four hour whitewater rafting excursion on our last day topped everything. The entire staff were professional and helpful. Safety was a priority. Our guide John was skilled and knowledgeable.We saw salmon and bald eagles. The scenery was spectacular. And originally I was a reluctant participant.

Today was absolutely the most exhilarating experience I've had in Alaska. I will admit, I was pretty nervous for the trip, however, the company and instructors made our group feel extremely safe and comfortable. If you want an adrenaline rush like none other, sign up now. I promise you will not regret it. Side note: Go in with an open mind with respect to the last canyon. Even though the first two canyons are well worth it, the experience is truly made in the last 30 minutes.

My 20 yo son, 14 yo daughter and I decided to try the class 3 and class 4 rapids. They had extensive training which included getting into the extremely cold 38 degree river water to prove you can swim across the river, then float on your back with feet downstream, then quickly turn into an Eddie and pull your tired body out of the frigid water with all the wet heavy gear intact. It was exhausting! We then got more instruction on what to expect in the first two canyons. They we had a fun tour guide named Tommy who told excellent stories. He made us feel very safe and confident in his skills as well as made all of us feel like we knew what we were doing with his easy to understand instructions. We all had an awesome time. When it came to attempt the 3 rd canyon all but one of us decided to stay on. Tommy really got us all excited and ready to take on the big class 5 rapids. We only had 5 rafters plus our guide Tommy on the raft class 5, but we rearranged everyone and decided to move on. It was the best and most exciting time ever. It was truly a thrill of a life time and I was so glad we decided to go for it! My kids absolutely loved it! We really would like to come again. Tommy definitely earned a nice tip that day! We hope to come back to anchorage again some day soon and we will definitely look up having Tommy be our guide again! He is the best ever!!! We did purchase the disc so that we can always remember our amazing white water trip! Thanks again for the best memories ever!,

The company was very safety conscious. The guides were all very knowledgeable and thorough with their instruction. We were able to raft the first two canyons and add the third on the spot once we felt ready. Many interesting a characters including Mud flap, Popcorn, and Archie made an already memorable adventure even more fun
