crazy rays adventures - private tours

Truly an outstanding fishing trip this past summer with Crazy Ray! Weather Condtions were less than ideal but he was still able to put us on some great fishing! It was my first fishing trip in Alaska and I look forward to going back next summer!

During the cold dark winter months in Myrtle Beach, SC!!! hahahahahaha! I finally got around to reading some of my reviews from last summer, somehow I skipped the MOST IMPORTANT one!! YOU! We were the Lesco gang down from Anchorage via Homer and Seward!! You all put us on the fish on the FAR side of Montague!!(GPS coordinates locked safely away!!) We all enjoyed the very best of AK fishing on the last day of our two week vacation. Wish we had started with YOU FIRST! but then Seward and Homer would have been disappointing. In case you your memory is failing you we had a fuel pump go out and we all hand pumped one engine all the way home!! Hope that didn't cost you MUCH ? What an AK Adventure all the same!!~ You are still a five act! We liked it soooooooooo much that Don is trying to hook us up with you for a Port ASHton overniter!!!! Look forward to seeing you all in July!!! I'm working on my squeeze ball fuel pump strength as we speak!! Hahah! By the way couldn't find our pics??

We have booked several charter trips with Crazy Ray’s and every trip is never a disappointment! Ray and Brenda have an awesome crew that go above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Fishing with Ray and his crew is like fishing with old buddies. We have always booked a combo trip with Ray and the fish have always been plentiful, filling our boat to the max and fulfilling our limit. The boat, equipment and fishing tackle is top notch, clean and well maintained. Best charter operator I have ever fished with, anywhere.

Ray and his crew were absolutely excellent. I took a group of customers that I work with out on a fishing trip for halibut and rock fish. Ray asked us if we wanted to focus on the quantity of fish caught or the size of the fish. We wanted to go for size, so he went above and beyond taking us way out to where we had a better chance of catching large fish. It was very apparent that he had a strategy and plan in his head on where we were going and how we were going to catch our limit of not only halibut, but rockfish, black bass, pacific cod, and even some ling cod. It was also apparent that he takes great pride in the job he does and how he fishes. He respects the areas he fishes and likes to move around, not over-fishing and depleting the fish population. All of this, combined with a hilarious personality, a fantastic, hard working crew, and awesome, roomy boat, made for an unforgettable trip. I definitely will return and am greatly looking forward to booking another trip this coming summer. I've been on a lot of charters in Alaska, but Crazy Ray's is by far the absolute best I've been on!

First off let me just say that these guys are the best in the business!! Brenda: This amazing lady is a pint sized power house!! She makes everything run smoothly and in the best interest of the customers! She wI'll make sure anyone can come fish be it a handicap or a tight schedule she makes it work!! Ray: Not even sure what to say about this amazing Captain! This guy takes pride in his trade and that is why he is the best! Really you just need to go fishing with him and you will know what I am talking about. No matter the weather or time of year you will catch some great fish with this true Alaskan man!! If your a veteran fisherman or this is your first time you will have an amazing experience aboard his vessel. Corn-fed Joey: As Rays deckhand Joey makes things happen on this boat!! He is all about getting you your fish and getting them to the boat! Whatever you need just yell Corn fed and you will have a strapping young man at your side! Really just love fishing with this family and on this boat!! Seriously just forget the rest and fish with Crazy Rays

Highly recommend Crazy Rays for a fishing adventure. Ray and Brenda are easy to schedule with and are extremely knowledge about great fishing spots. I’m a beginner and really appreciated the help from Ray. It was very entertaining and exciting catching all those fish! Would definitely book with Crazy Rays again!

Todd,What a day of days you guys had. After dubbing the day the .38 Special one could only venture to guess why it was called that. Definitely sounded like a firing squad was onboard that day.
