alma aquatic park

Okay, so I had 3 kids visiting for a week, followed by a week with 5 kids visiting so I was searching out anything to do with them to keep them entertained. I took each group to the aquatic park. The kids ranged in age from 4 to 13 and they all had a blast. There is something there for every age from an 8 inch deep baby pool to a splash pad, to a 4 foot max kiddie pool with a junior water slide, to a diving pool, regular adult pools and 8 water slides. One thing we LOVED is that the lifeguards team up to alert each other when a little person (and I mean LITTLE) wants to use the smallest of the big waterslides. The little one slides and the lifeguard at the end catches the child and sends it off to shallow water. The 4 year old in our group thought he was something pretty special being able to go on the grown up slide.There is a little snack shack that has nachos, premade hot dogs and burgers, big pretzels, that kind of thing. It wasn't great but it was cheap so perfect for me with all these kids in tow!I loved the fact that the place is quite small. I could sit in any one area and keep tabs on kids in all areas of the park. They have a good sized staff of life guards so I was never worried about safety.One of my little people (age 7) declared after the aquatic park that this was the best vacation of his life :)

This water park is great for a local, fun destination on those hot summer days and the price was very fair.
