I have done the submarine tour twice now- once with my Ret. USN father who loves visiting the USS Razorback, and once with my sister and brother-in-law. Both visits were great. The people who work there and give the tours are wonderful and really know what they're talking about. I don't recommend the tour if you don't like ladders or can't climb over a baby gate because there are ladders to get in and out of the sub and the doorways are about baby gate height. Be sure to look for the turtles lounging in the river on the way in. I will always recommend the museum and sub to my family and friends when they're in town.

Fairly cheap to tour the Razorback submarine. It was a different perspective seeing what people went through to be on a submarine. I didn't feel too clausterphobic, which was nice since I worried about it.

This waa alot more informative then i thought it would be..you can touch every item in the submarine...the folks there at the submarine are very knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy sharing this bit of history.

Naval history in a land locked state. Great folks to answer all of your questions. If you are in North Little Rock it is a must for kids and adults alike.

I had no idea what to expect and it is a real get right in there tour. You actually climb down and up the hatches to get in and out! A bit scary at first for me! You start at one end of the sub and throughout the tour go from room to room seeing an actual sumarine that was in use up until a few years ago! It has so much history!! It will also give you a real life look at what living in a submarine is. I am in awe of the men (maybe women too) that volunteered to do this for at least 2 months at a time.. There is just no room, but they did it!! Definitely worth it to stop in! Inexpensive and such a great experience!

A tour of the submarine USS Razorback was excellent. Our pre-teen grandsons were transfixed, and we senior citizens were interested as well. We were very fortunate that our guide was a fellow who had served on that boat in the 60's ... he made the tour highly informative and enjoyable. In addition to the tour of the boat, the museum has a wide variety of informative items. Well worth a visit.

Loved the tour of the submarine. Not only did I actually learn some really cool stuff but my kids loved it too. Well worth your time.

Loved the tour, it was only me and my husband were the only ones on our tour so it was nice! I thought it was pretty educational and cool to see how everything looked inside the submarine!!

Although the info on the internet claims Seniors are admitted for $5 ea, for some reason they didn't extend this courtesy although my husband pointed out his Sr. status but it was well worth the $7.50 to tour this sub. They also claim it's a 1/2 hr. tour but you'd be wise to allot at least 1 1/2 hrs due to wait time for a tour guide to accompany each group. Tours run 10-6pm Fri and Sat and 1-6 Sun. It's docked in water and approximately 90% ready for active duty. It's the best stocked/ equipped museum vessel I've seen in Arkansas or Oklahoma. Bring your camera's. We were impressed that everything was there and pretty much functional. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a good detail of operations of the sub. You ever get the opportunity to hear the actual dive horns and so forth. It was a great tour.

Really great value - your get a full tour aft to fore of the U.S.S. Razorback and some other military and local Arkansas history (digging out the Arkansas River to extend to the Mississippi). Can't say enough about climbing in and out of a 1943 submarine and experiencing it as they would - great tour.

After booking our hotels for a short 4 day vacation I "discovered" this attraction was not open on the day we had originally planned to visit. Having always wanted to tour a WW2 diesel submarine, I shuffled our vacation plans a little and thus we stopped back thru Little Rock on the way back home to catch this tour. This tour was very interesting if your a military vet or enthusiast and gives one a whole new appreciation for what those volunteers in the submarine services went thru. One cannot help but remember them as Tom Brokaw put it....., "The greatest generation." The guide was very friendly and informative as well as empathetic when my wife had a case of the claustrophobic jitters looking down the hatch from the deck.Overall I am very glas we stopped and took this tour !

We very much enjoyed a tour of the USS Razorback Submarine; our boys enjoyed it just as much as we did (we have a 12 and 6 year old). The tour guide was so knowledgeable, sharing the history of the submarine and taking us on a walking tour down into and through the sub. I was afraid that the space might be too close/tight for me, but honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought. We really enjoyed it, and the stories were enough to take my mind completely off the fact that we were down inside such an enclosed space. It was interesting to see the bunks, the control rooms, real torpedoes, where sailors ate, and more. Such a cool tour that our family would gladly do all over again. And it's super affordable.

Everyone should experience this submarine tour. It really makes you appreciate those men who served on these boats. The tour is not too long but you leave with a real understanding of life in a sub. Probably best to go when it is not really hot outside.
