pioneer village

Hadn't been to Pioneer Village since it was at the Fairgrounds during the White County Fair each year as a child.We just so happened to be back in Searcy for a family member passing away and saw they were having a Christmas event. Very fun for a family tour these antique buildings and artifacts. The only drawback was the rain that came early in the morning and made the ground fairly muddy. But other than that a lot of fun. The cookies and hot apple cider were hits for my kids as well.

We went to the open house and really enjoyed it. The members take pride in the Village and volunteer their time to learn about it and teach others about it. Take the kids - they will enjoy it!

Super fun day out with a family. informative. Nice to know that history is being maintained. Our tour guide was outstanding! Must visit when in Searcy. Had a fun time and learned alot.
