We have been Rep subscribers for years and each year it gets better. The theater is an excellent venue, the casts are drawn almost exclusively from Actor Equity members from national companies and the costumes/set designs first class. We go to the theater frequently all over the US including Broadway and in London whenever there. The Rep is a top level regional company comparing favorably with anything in the US. Other advantages are reasonable ticket prices and connected indoor parking only yards from the door as well as both a cocktail lounge and a lobby bar actually on premises.

We've been going to The Rep for years, and we have loved it each time. Some shows are better than others, but overall we really enjoy it there. Three years ago they completely renovated the theatre and the place looks great. There is a cash bar in the lobby (with limited selection) that you can purchase before the show and during intermission. I believe that they also have some snack food available for purchase as well. The Rep is located in downtown Little Rock on Main Street, so parking can be somewhat of an issue, although we usually seem to luck out. As another reviewer mentioned, The Rep draws some fabulous talent and nothing seems to be spared when it comes to the set and the costumes. The only downside to The Rep, is the viewing in the 2nd Mezzanine. I can be very difficult to see - even on the front row. I would suggest that you shoot for the orchestra section, or 1st Mezzanine at the least.

We go often to this theater and most of the plays we enjoy but Elf was the one of best one we have ever seen. I like the fact I can park nearby in the covered garage as I am handicapped. This is a great place to come with family or friends, enjoy the play, have a drink or snack and leave happy. And the Rep truly appreciates it's patrons and visitors.

This place draws some fantastic talent, and the stage settings are always wonderful. All volunteer ushers and servers. Small, intimate, classy. I'm a local and we get season passes every year

The Rep is an exception venue to see actors at their best. They also provide a wide variety of shows during their season and you can certainly find several to watch. They have a cash bar for your intermission libations and always have local art work on the walls to browse and shop before and after the shows. The seating is good and all the seats offer a great view. I personally like the mezzanine front row, but that is just my preference. You can buy tickets online or over the phone or at the box office. Worth checking out their website if you are visiting the city or a local.

We've been season ticket subscribers for many years. I started attending plays at The Rep in high school when I was asked to volunteer to usher and got to see them for free! That was before they moved to their current building and I've been hooked ever since. Very intimate feel, no bad seats, decent selection of beer, wine, and soft drinks, which you can take into the theater with you, sound is always good, selection of plays diverse and very well executed. I'm always amazed at the talent that our little town attracts for these performances! I definitely recommend attending a performance here!

We were gifted with tickets to a show here and we liked the show very much. I was surprised at the level of talent displayed here.I have since been told by others that this is typical for 'The Rep'.The theatre itself is small, as are some other 'off Broadway', but this made the players more intimate with the attendees.Wine et al and snacks is available if you wish. The staff made us feel very welcome. The ticket price was reasonable as well.We are new to the area but we are planning to return.

I love the "back in time" atmosphere of the theater. You can dress up or not. You can have wine and a snack or not. But you can certainly enjoy the plays!! The aisle seats are too close to the ones in front and back of you, barely any leg room at all, sot he play has to be really good to endure and I have many times. Hope they plan to enlarge the seating area!

After being away awhile went back to the Rep to see Memphis. Once again blown away by the performance and the Rep delivered. While this is a smaller facility, I think that is part of the charm and being so close to performances is a bonus. Staff is so friendly you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. It is great that you can take you snacks and drinks in with you to the show. The entire area is clean and inviting. We are fortunate in Little Rock to have such a Theatre. Don miss this one.

We attend performances here through out the year. We are never disappointed. This summer we attended the young performers presentation in which they create all aspects of the performance in a few weeks. It is so remarkably and impressively done with professionalism and creativity. You will not be disappointed.

I love the small, intimate feel of the Rep. I love that you can take your drinks and snacks in to the theatre with you, unlike Robinson. I enjoy the productions and feel that they do an excellent job with choosing their cast and crew.I will add that the Rep is a non profit. If you like what you see, donate to them so that people of all ages can continue to be cultured by this gem.

The Rep is a nice place to catch a show. I sat on the right side and still had a great view. The chairs could be a little more comfy but all in all check them out. They have cool "pay what you want" nights listed on the website which gives you the opportunity to see shows at a low price. The restroom was pretty clean despite there being lots of people there.Check them out!

I went to see Les Misérables, and it was great. The Rep has a very nice, small theater. There probably isn't a bad seat in the house. I sat on the first row of the orchestra level, and sitting right there up front is a really cool experience. There's no orchestra pit and nothing separating you from the front of the stage. If the action is taking place up stage, though, you have to look up at an odd angle, so if that would bother you, choose some seats a little further back. There's a fairly large lobby with lots of space to mill around. The stage door is inside opposite the bathrooms.

The Rep is a great place to see some of the best productions there is. I have been many times, most recently to see Les Misérables and prior to that to see Winn Dixie. The actors are always superb. There seating in great, especially the orchestra...you feel like you can touch the performers. This is a great way to have an enjoyable evening with friends, family, or business associates.
