Located near the Arkansas River and an old iron bridge on wich you can walk the Clinton Library is a beautiful and modern building full of lights. even if there is not a lot information about the presidency période, the private collections, the reconstitution of the oval office and the conference room are funny and interesting. The volonteers are very kind, hepful, having always spécificités stories to share with the visitons. Of you are in Little Rock you have to go because there are not a lot of cultural attractions.....
Beautifully set on the Arkansas River in Little Rock. Great little restaurant. Wonderful meeting room, all glass building give inspired views of the city. His Oval Office, his desk. His limo. Nearly all his important legislation. His speeches. This museum gives an accurate account of his two terms in office, the good, the not so good and all in between.
Well done displays and interesting, friendly guides. Yes, the place can be a little partisan, but I think that's to be expected. Replicas of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room were very well done.
It is a nice presidential museum. It is set up in an easy to follow way. The workers were very nice and very helpful. I felt there was a little bit of propaganda-type displays, but not as much as the Bush library I visited last week.
The Clinton Presidential Library is a good site to visit. We enjoyed seeing all of the presidentail memorabilia. The staff is very friendly and will answer questions about the exhibits. There is a nice restaurant available for the convenience of the visitors. Plan to spend some time because one could stay the entire day at the museum. There is just so much to see.
A wonderful Presidential Museum! Loved it!! The history and times of President Bill Clinton, will leave you with great memories of what this man did for our country!
This was a phenomenal trip for my family and I. We were able to see the oval office replica, read about the amazing things that President Clinton accomplished during his time at the White House. They share facts about his childhood. The view was fabulous. The price for the exhibit is a steal, my family of three spent only $17 for this awesome outing. You have to go, I can't even begin to share everything, there is so much to see. The only thing was we went on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed, I really wanted to experience that, but that's OK, that gives me a reason to go back.
It is an interesting tour, worth he visit and check out the good restaurant and speaker series their and next door. Outstanding!
We stopped in Little Rock on our way to Branson. The tour of the Library was great and educational. A must stop for all people (even if you are not a Clinton fan.) We toured and then had lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious! Everyone in our party had a different meal and we all agreed that it was great.
We were impressed by the overall display in this museum/library from the magnificent building to the various levels that featured the Clintons' political reign in the White House. The exhibit commenced with a short video of Bill introducing the museum. There was his presidential car on the ground floor to interactive exhibits. There was also a 'mock' Oval office and fascinating interactive time line exhibits for those who wanted more information. To finish this wonderful afternoon there was a display of glass sculpture by Chihuly who was a friend/client of Bill Clinton after his Presidency. The exhibition was truly magical - a very talented artist. He also has a display of his glassware in Bellagio in Las Vegas. If you are into lots of reading then allow at least a half day to take in this great exhibit.
This is a stunningly impressive library/museum. If you are in Little Rock, or anywhere near, you must see it. Regardless of your politics, the Clinton Library will remind you of the wonder of that decade. The wide array of artifacts and papers cover every aspect of the Clinton presidency. The limo/cabinet room/oval office exhibits are worth it, alone. The docents are wonderful and extremely knowledgable.
Like stepping back into history. An oval office reproduction. Interactive exhibits and narration from President Clinton for an extra 3 dollars. A history buff could spend hours and days here. If you really explore you will be here all day. The trolley car drops off nearby. Even if your not a fan, the timeline set up will really bring you back in time to big events you've long forgotten about. i.e. Elian Gonzalez for me.
I have been to the Clinton Library three times and I always find something new to look at or read about. So many interesting facts about the president and his life. I highly recommend if you are in Little Rock or even driving through to stop and visit. This is the only presidential museum I have visited so I cannot compare to others, but I can't imagine any being better. This one is the cream of the crop!
I have seen a few Presidential Libraries and was a little disappointed. But this could be that this is the most current president's library. Had a lot of information but seemed to be both of the Clintons. Always important to see what our presidents did in their time and sometime get surprised but things.
This is a nice 'museum' well worth your time, if you have some to spare while in Little Rock. You will find all about Bill (and Hillary) Clinton and his time in the US presidency. A few fun rooms/items to see as well while he was a president (oval office, meeting room, personal limo, etc). If you are lucky enough, you might also get to see a cool exhibit from the many the library has around the year.
