A great place to visit if you are a animal lover. We enjoyed walking at our own pace and seeing the tigers. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The guided tour was good. All of the animals were obviously very well cared for. Be careful if you go in the summer though. There is no shade (cats have shade) so it will be very hot.

I enjoyed seeing the big cats and going on the walking tour around the refuge. I liked reading about each animal's rescue.

Loved this place! The work they are doing is so wonderful and needed. SO many of these animals come from bad situations and probably would have been put down if not for the amazing folks at Turpentine Creek. It's rare to find somewhere that's primary focus is the care of these incredibly majestic creatures. Donate to, visit and support this truly special place!

As tony the tiger would say!:) Very neat to see all the animals that have been rescued. You can tell that everyone really cares about all of these cats and other animals. We definitely come back to see this again.

I've supported this rescue throughout the years and watched them grow into the premier facility for rescued big cats and of course their friends the bears, the coyote, the monkey and the macaw. Each visit reminds me why I am drawn to the place. On a mountaintop with passionate interns and staff, the ability to look at these animals peaceful and up close is spiritual.

Fantastic place to visit and they are doing a wonderful job of taking care of rescued big cats. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable about their feline residents. A "must visit" if you have the time and are in the area.

This place is amazing! I never thought I could be so close to Lions, Tigers, Bears, Cougars, Leopards, Jaguars, and a monkey! It was very educational and very fun! Make sure to be there for feeding time! Great Gift Shop with reasonable prices!

I have been going here for 20 years. I have become friends with the original owners and their daughter who now runs the refuge. I know they go above and beyond in offering a lifetime home for their animals. A trip to Eureka Springs isn't complete without a trip to the refuge.

We found that this was very interesting and enjoyed learning about these animals. The young lady who took us on the tour was very knowledgable about the animals. Was impressed how she knew all of their names and their stories. We learned a lot about the cats. It was well worth going to see.

We'll run with qualified people, well worth a visit. They also have lodgong which I would like to try sometime.

Great place going above & beyond to be sure all the animals are happy & healthy! They always need money for care, food & now they are trying to raise money for an onsite vet building. Donate if you can!

We are seniors and therefore only had to pay half price admission. We visited the refuge on an unusually warm winter day, and having driven from Rogers (about 40 minutes) we were very happy with the free guided tour and our tour guide. Be sure to take your camera and/or smart phone for the many photo ops. Only one caution; you should be able to walk on uneven and rocky ground as well as down and back up the hill on which the sanctuary is located. It is definitely worth the 30 to 45 minutes for the tour and you should allow some time to wander about the non-tour part of the facility on your own.

As a local I recommend Turpintine to everyone. With a great cause and an once in a lifetime experience for some this is educational and beautiful. Staff very dedicated and most being interns, you are welcomed with smiles. I truly love this place and what it stands for. My favorite will always be BamBam the bear. So stop in and see him and tell him John-Derek says hello!
