fifty's lounge

My dad was visiting from Ohio. We (me with my wife and he with his girl friend) wanted to go out and just have a few drinks. Heard of a place called: Fifty's Lounge. By the name you would think: older musicNOPE. We walked in and the place had a fifty's look but when the music started. OMG OUCH. First it was so loud we were afraid of hearing damage and the selection was new age pop. Sorry, we are not in our 20's.They should rename the "Lounge" to a more fitting name and remove the "Lounge" part.

We went to explore this place after reading the raving reviews of the locals but were disappointed because there were less than 10 guests including us between and 8 and 9.30 pm on a Friday night. The DJ came in around 8.30 pm but no activity at least until we headed out.No printed menu. Pop corn was the only available snack. The good thing is the pop corn is free if you buy a drink.The place was listed as wheelchair accessible, the entrance and the navigation inside were pretty accessible, however, there were no low tables and seats. Typical bar stool and high tablesettingNo live music, we were told by the waitress that the DJ would play the requested songs from his laptopCash only and cash has to be paid right after you order a drink each time.
