Nice trail through the woods. Wonderful preservation land. It's a very relaxing summer stroll through gardens and woods. Nothing to dislike.

This is a beautiful, historical estate surrounded by gardens. The gardens are the most scenic in the Spring, with flowering trees, tulips and daffodils. There are walking trails and dogs are allowed on leash. A gem of a place.

We love to visit, especially weekly in the spring to see the changing and amazing foliage. Well maintained and historic.

I've lived close to this place for a very long time and didn't even know it existed until I found it on TripAdvisor! Wonderful place to bring kids, take photos, or take a hike. Cut your own flowers in the fall, see the animals. Wonderfully serene place. I keep coming back now!

I walk up Long Hill often as I live around the corner from it. It is peaceful and lovely. It's not a "hike". It's a meander through gardens though there are a few short woodsy trails. This walk is for garden admirers. There is a marvelous giant beech tree. Lots of the plants are marked for your learning pleasure. There are several little ponds with goldfish and frogs. You may see deer, fox, turkey, hawks, and vultures. I just love it up there. There are no facilities. You can walk the grounds in under an hour.

Nice walk around a lovely home and gardens. Worth an hour of your time. Must be a real treasure for the locals.

Georgeous gardens. There is almost always something in bloom. There is a children's garden where they can dig, water, play and have fun safely. They have chickens. There are Guinea fowl and peacocks wandering free. The walking trails which are well marked but you do need to protect yourself from ticks. Parking on property. Chairs and benches are positioned around the property that you can sit- enjoy a picnic, read a book or look at the beautiful gardens.Pick you own flowers available some days during the week. Trustees of the Reservation also run a CSA farm there. They do also hold some classes during the year generally something pertaining to gardening. The property is dog friendly.

I visited Long Hill the day before the Daffodil Festival. It was quiet in the morning, and I had a lovely stroll. I appreciated that many of the flowers, trees and shrubs were labeled:)! If you're in the area, I would make a point to put aside an hour for a short hike and a quiet respite.

We all really loved to hiking trails. We went in the winter which is very scenic, but the spring must be beautiful! I have a 5 and 7 year old and they had a blast! Great trails, maps, and markings. Just enough challenge in the winter to make you feel like the king of the world with little ones:). Free and great trails.

A very interesting area to walk about with some hiking trails and very interesting plant specimens throughout the estate. Very low key. When we visited the estate house was not open for tours, however, just walking through the gardens was a very enjoyable peaceful way to spend an afternoon and relax
