strand theatre

This is a clean well run theater with tables between every two seats in the center section, the sides I believe had tables in front of the seats. I haven't been to a movie theater in years because I find them to be annoying and distracting. This experience was a very pleasant surprise. I don't remember hearing a single cell phone go off and people were very quiet while watching the movie. I only got popcorn and draft beer...yes I said beer :-) The food did look and smell good. I will return for another enjoyable evening. I didn't notice if they were handicapped accessible, sorry. No steps that I could remember but there is a ramp as soon as you enter. Please call and see if they can accommodate your needs.

Historic Strand Theater, one of the few left of it's kind. It has second run movies or classics depending on the season. The staff is friendly and I love being able to order a pizza or burger and get a nice beer to sit back and enjoy a movie.
